I was appalled to see Jesse Hogan hyperextending his back on a video clip shown on TV Channel 9 last night. That is the worst possible thing to do for anyone's back let alone someone with an injury. Who on earth has told him to stretch that way??

Is he injured?

Didn't he say he'd recovered from the injury and now just had to get his conditioning right?

Honestly, if you're going to troll, you need to try harder.

Anyway, I saw nothing wrong with the way he was stretching.

The fitness staff obviously saw nothing wrong with it.

Maybe you should pop down the club and offer your chiropractic expertise..?

I don't see why you are being unpleasant. I'm a doctor and I'm concerned that he has been given the wrong advice. I will contact the club directly.

Of music? Optometry, Biblical Studies perhaps Doctor of Practical Theology

I don't doubt your concern, but I think the club medicos have a better handle on Hogans condition than the rest of us.

Max Gawn (hamstring) – test
Jesse Hogan (back) – 4-5 weeks
Viv Michie (jaw) – 4-6 weeks
James Strauss (foot) – available
Luke Tapscott (hamstring) – 1 week

With Max Gawn a possibility to return, that makes four blokes who could be available to play for Casey against Geelong. Almost worth the drive to the Fields.

And they're far more definitive about Jesse Hogan - instead of TBA, he's now a 4 - 5 week proposition which makes his back marginally better than Viv Michie's jaw.

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.     The Mighty Demons take on the confident Cats this Saturday night at the recently completed $319 million redeveloped GMHBA Stadium, with the bounce of the ball at 7:15pm.
