PSD Pick 2 effectively Pick 1 now with GWS committed to Lamb after trade didn't eventuate.

This is the best place to keep track of who has been delisted.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/features/retirements-and-delistings

That's a good list but that's not where value with PSD 2 is going to come from.

Those delisted players can be picked up by anyone as delisted FA.

The value comes in convincing someone who's required but still out of contract to come to us in that draft.

Shaun McKernan is an option, although I don't think we need a ruckman or KPF. I think he has more to offer than he has shown to date, but it still might not be enough.

Mav Weller, Matt Thomas if we want a more mature depth mid, other players on the fringes might get delisted from clubs who wanted to trade them but couldn't find a buyer.

Can we use our PSD pick in the national draft meaning we use 4 live picks??

Yes but our 4th pick in the national draft will be pretty high up. Which is fine if it's Clisby as a rookie promotion but if it's a live pick there's probably more benefit waiting and getting the guys we want to train with us rather than pulling the trigger early.

Travis Varcoe if he gets delisted.

He's a spud and he's contracted also so will be staying at Adelaide

The tough midfielder played seven games in his first season in the AFL with an impressive average of 18.3 disposals and 4.9 marks. Miles’ most exciting display in his first season was against Fremantle in Round 17 when he amassed 27 disposals and took six marks.

Sounding better and better, get onto it Dees!

Yeah he is a very good player. Tough North Albury product that was a very highly rated junior in the TAC system.

Then why would he fall through to the PSD then? (serious question)

Surely can't be any worse than Nicho or a doomed Bail.

Don't know to be honest mate. I mean probably like Tyson where he battled bit of injury and fell behind others but the times I watched him on TV he really has impressed me as that inside midfielder.

Would blossom at a club like ours I reckon.

I can't find anything on this kid.

Has he been delisted or is he out of contract?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
