Young West Australian mid sized forward who could develop into a midfielder in the future. Showed some good improvement through the season.

My favourite and i hope he pushes up to the midfield nect year. Pace, booming kick, hard at it, aggressive.. reminds me alot of Luke Shuey.

I agree with that dazzler. Needs to build his tank, find more football and improve his awareness, but these will develop with experience and another pre-season or two. Has a lot of the right ingredients to be a very good 'modern-day' mid with grunt, run and a hint of agro.

Really like this kid - can't afford to stuff this one up.

Hopefully this is a new era where we turn talent into stars.

Love how he backs himself, provides pressure and has a nice kick.

I see him as an outside mid or wingman

He impressed me this year.

Perhaps a rich mans Luke Tapscott?

Needs to work on his set shot for goals. They were diabolical.

BBP please don't mention him in the same sentence as Tapscott.

We both want Kent to improve don't we?

Haha sorry,

My point was that we wanted Tapscott to be that dynamic, tough and exciting half forward flank that kicked the big goals.

Kent looks closer than Tapscott in respect to the above.

I agree there is way more chance of success with Kent than you know who.

It was a small joke by the way as we do need the other one to fire up as well.

Love that on several occasions I saw him have the confidence to try and shrug off a tackle, and the strength through the core to actually do it. Not many first year demons we've been able to say that about recently.

Bot of a find in Mr Kent

Another preseason, some good coaching ...and who knows.

Showed a little more than something.

Not quite there yet, but on the way perhaps :)

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast

It’s game day and the Demons return to Melbourne to play the Eagles at the MCG for the first time in over a decade. A win keeps the Dees finals hopes alive whereas a loss will almost certainly slam the finals window shut.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well
