Must trade him out of the club, he clearly displayed today his lack of intent for putting in 100% effort for the jumper

Been a Watts supporter since day one. Have been in countless arguments with friends and opposition supporters over the years backing him when they would get into him.
His consistent lack of effort, and "i'm not really interested" attitude really throws all the support i have given him back in my face.
It breaks my football heart to finally say that he needs to go, as we will never build a winning culture with him in our team.

He couldn't care less about AFL football, the people who support him and more importantly Jack Watts couldn't care less for the Melbourne Football Club.

So go on.... re cast your votes if ya like... Anyone done this ?? .lol

we heard you the first time Belzebub.... What's your point? Are you still in the minority here?

Love how after one game, posters jump on and off.

Remember after kicking 4 in the bullies game, we had threads saying he is a gun, give him the farm, pay overs. he is all class and will be top 30.

Offer him a contract for what he is worth. 350Kish. If he wants more. See ya.

He has enough talent to persist with if the trade deal isn't right.

Didn't see the game , if that's the case he must be dropped for the final two games. To me that would build culture.

350 k, you must be joking, will be lucky to get 260 k on the open market.

no that would be undecideds :)

But I am curious if some might not change their minds . Such is the dilemma

I have been a one-eyed JW supporter, but it's stuff like turning his back to the play (when we were in possession) and ball in vicinity at the 13m mark of first quarter that makes me feel the guy is not wholly committed. He doesn't 'gut-run' to offer himself to the ball-carrier, just little half-runs. That said, the overall team performance is so poor that it is hard to mark him fairly.

Didn't you want to burn me at the stake over Tip Toes ?

Or was it another matter ? : )

Bush Demon Many of us are dismayed and saddened by the efforts ( sic) and viewpoints of lil ol Jackie. His current displays are diametrically opposed to the potential he showed. Its infuriatingly disappointing. Then theres his lip service...I mean....honestly.

This is the final straw isn't it? TSFKA completely disheartened.

I think Ben-Hur in another post said he was sick of caring, tired of talking.

P_Man trying to stay positive, but wavering.

Even stuie has had enough.

We need to chop players like this bloke off our list. We're a laughing stock for playing him.

If you have the diehard supports disheartened, then something is wrong.

Jack, only you can fix this. Develop some passion or clear off.

ive been on Cols case a long whiles but he got into the spirit of things and loved it when he remonstrated with jack.. Kinda pot and kettle but it needed to be shown. Love to know if any follow up after the game, if any REAL Demons might have had a quiet word !!

Silvia's intent and body language was excellent today. He cares about how the team is performing. I think he will stay.

Yes, I know , very odd possibly that I would agree but my position , always , is from the perspective of the team . I just want them to play , well, passionately and ideally in a winning manner.

To see him plssed off was good. Maybe its the key that unleashes the potential. He has done this to a degree this year but theres still a level he can go to. I dont think we'll ever see that from Jack, more the pity

Posted

so you think he did enough today?

..........

Nope....but Crowley has much bigger scalps to his name than N Jones.

N Jones has had an excellent season....and to bag him because the AFL's best tagger nullifies him is ridiculous...it is then that the likes of Watts should really step up. Sadly he didn't, can't and won't.

Says it all, I thought he would be great, a great waste of time is watt he is, 24 touches and how many were anything apart from a handball give and get back, A private school pansy, with no heart.

Give him away for nothing and we lose nothing, Drop him to Casey make a statement ! When Freo got it back after his ineffective touches, he shakes his fist. Well arn't we all angry,

Disinterested and could not care, Needs some angry pills badly. Dunn has nowhere near his ability but many times the desire and application. We have a lot more dead wood to cut !

Giving JW Norm Smith's number 4...before he had done anything.

Another of Schwab's genius ideas no doubt.

Jack Watt's needs to feel some pain...and come out the other side.

That wasn't even a half ar$ed effort from JW very disappointed, voted to retain but now.........shakes head, really disappointed.

Is he a forward, is he a wingman is he a back? No one seems to know. Too many talls in a forward 50 wont work. A trade may be win win.

He has to go. Try and get the best trade for him but I think other clubs will offer next to nothing.

Disagree with your last comment, jack has immense talent and I wouldn't underestimate what we could get for him at the trade table.

The club we played today, I think would be one keen on watts, with their abundance in midfielders we could get one of their middle tier midfield type players (suban, c. pearce, de boir, spurr) and maybe a later draft pick or one of there younger mids (crozier, michie), who are not getting a game with freo currently.

A trade like that would benefit MFC more than keeping jack on our list, I think it's best for both parties to part ways.
