If true then the odds of Daniel Cross and possibly Adam Cooney coming across as free agents would be decent you'd think!

No, not really.

I find it funny that people think players will just follow coaches to new clubs, the only player I know to go with a coach is Zac Dawson and he's garbage

Agree - but he stills plays his role in that team.

Lyon has got Freo very, very well drilled.

I'm old enough, but I don't remember. Should I be concerned? Should I see a doctor?

Either that or dust off those LPs that are stored in the garage and take a look back through your record collection.

Definately!

Looking more likely than ever, not sure how I feel about it though. I guess the only reason I'm not certain of him is purely because he hasn't tasted Grand Final victory yet as a coach. Has been so close but never finished the job. Third time lucky....

i too have this concern with Eade, but i look at it from the point of view that he will be more driven than ever to get that elusive premiership, as he has come so close so many times.

But really, i'm in the mindset of Roo's, Eade, or Chocco being all a win, win win.

Jut sign one.

All will be steps in the right direction.

Experienced Coach who knows how to build a team, great at developing and getting the best out of players, would love to see what he would be able to get out of blokes like

Trengove

Watts

Strauss

Tapscott

Blease

if he can get these guys playing to their Ability we will be a much better team for it.

Fine by me

I hope not.. Do we really want another guy who's latest stint has been with the pies.. id much rather choco..

It says lots about our year that we cannot get Melbourne spelt correctly on a thread title.

Phone typo

I wonder if this new role that Rocket recently got with the Pies, which has taken him off shows on Fox, is just a smokescreen for a different role at the Pies where they want to keep him on, but have given him less access to their IP.

So in other words facebook..

Oh come on! We all know FB tells the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth....

So you want a veteran who can't get a game in a young up and down side, and a guy who will never leave the Dogs, and for Xmas you would like?

I got this rumour from somewhere else rather than Facebook

When there is a news conference I will believe who we have appointed as coach

Neil Craig is a better option than Eade, thought he coached really well Saturday night against Gold Coast just didn't have the cattle to finish the job for him.

Agree! Dont want Eade. Choco would fit better. He instilled agression type players at Port like Byron Pickett ect...Thats what we need!!!! Amongst other attributes..

Neil Craig could well be a good option but Ultimately the Demons need a coach who has coached A FLAG!

Roos still number one for me though!

Must have missed something.. I thought we had not been granted permission to interview Eade as of yet?

Not correct ? just curious

or his brother Adam Ant (with apologies to Shane Maloney!)

Shane Maloney? I used to know a Shane Maloney many many years ago during my days of propping myself up at the union bar at ANU in Canberra... these days he is quite a successful (or at least, was) crime (pulp) fiction writer.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
