Frawley out for a month

Featured Replies

good, get ready for preseason big fella

lets give the new coach another player to look at and make a judgement call before the next draft

Without Chip and Garland, J Cameron will tear us a new one this week.

Garland is a chance to come back in this week.

Hopefully Garland is in and fit and can go straight on to Cameron.

Frawley out for a month and 5 games left for the year. You do the maths.

Think it's a good job for Tommy Mc.

Cue in rack

With the lack of talent of our list i have had our cue in the rack since round 3

Get ready for preseason Chip, take Jamar and Evans with you.

Nah, Evans maybe, but Jamar must play some more games towards the End.

Frawley out is a big out. Every time I have been down to see Casey, I have been impressed with Davis' defensive capabilities. His disposal is questionable at best but defensively he is very good. I just wish we would play him at the top level once or twice; you never know. I am so over Pederson, Sellar, Gillies et al ...

Its been suggested by some that given the way we play , it looks like with run around without a cue !!^_^

We don't have a cue.

Every team is in the pub and has a cue (GWS has a pencil).

The MFC has a trout.

Cue in rack

The cue got lost in the mail

This just makes it obvious that we bring in Davis. Two straight swaps in the backline, Davis for Chip and Garland for Pedo. We could probably find room for Strauss and Terlich as well.

frawley, evans and jamar on ice

strauss and terlich into the middle

trenners to half forward grimes to half back

bring in barry, taggart and davis, all have been good at vfl level of late

need to learn as much as we can about our list

To soon to call tanking?? :P

theres no such thing as tanking..

just bad jokes

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
