Quick question, are Dom, Viv and Bernie all left footer?

Vince is a right footer, but the others are left footers.

EDIT. Thanks Ben. I'm a zombie today. Viv is also a right footer.

Vince is one of those weird anomalies - a natural right footer who is arguably better off the left.

I really hope the Cross rumour is true.

Perfect bloke to help teach Tyson, Michie, Toumpas, et al just what's required in terms of professionalism to being the best midfielder you can be.

Why ?

because If McKay is open to coming back, it would help to change out a Bail or a Nicholson, or a Dunn.

Or even a trade with a Jetta who is struggling to find his place. he's got more than he's providing. he almost needs a change of scenery to recharge batteries.

IMO another change of the lower register can help all to improve. a Dunn/Bail for McKay, or a Jamar + P57

I think McKay would help with our run & pace at the expence of a Dunn or Bail type. I wonder if Dunn would do better out of Victoria.

Interesting article on the AFL site:

White to Pies a done deal
Sydney Swans big man Jesse White will get his wish of a trade to Collingwood, after the clubs agreed to a three-way trade that also involves West Coast, reports Fairfax Media.
The report says the trade could be made official as early as Monday, with the Magpies to receive White and pick six in the NAB AFL Draft, the Eagles picks 11 and 31, and the Swans pick 44.
I am confused in what does Sydney get? The Eagles are darn keen on using 31 to get Yeo; willing to go from 6 to 11 to get it done.

I think the Swans are refreshing their list, & also letting off some salary cap pressure going forward. that club is changing its down back to duck feathers.

Jamar out (Brisbane or St.Kilda for a pick upgrade) - Jolly in would not surprise me in the least.

It wouldn't surprise me but it wouldn't impress me. Would be no change on field and off field would replace a popular team mate with a guy who can be a bit of a [censored].

I heard that Collingwood are keen on picking up Freeman now that they have #6. This thwarts our aspirations for pick #9. Can anyone update on this?

Who did you "hear" it from ?

Freeman would be a 'good get' with pick 9, but there are a number of 'good gets' in what seems to be a very even first 10 or 12 picks.

Like Mahoney said on Friday...there's a few players that we were looking at for pick 2 and our recruiting team are confidant that there'll be one at pick 9.

If it's Freeman, then good. If it's Lenon, Crouch, Kolo, Taylor....then good.

If other people are like me and don't really watch any under age footy...but then start to like the sound of Freeman purely based on other uneducated footy people like me saying that Freeman's a jet, then it's the blind leading the blind.

If Viney and Taylor think one of there preferred picks will be there at 9...then relax and enjoy the ride. Don't stress about maybe loosing Freeman.

Technically this is right, but my Crows mates say Vince is equally good either foot. There is a great clip of him moving through traffic on the 50 meter line, dodges onto his right foot then baulks, then slots a 50m goal through using his loeft boot on a 45 degree angle.

Will be great to see Vince, Viney, Michie, and Tyson feeding our forwards on those lovely low long accurate passes lefties seem so expert at (a la Hawks)

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering why you were keen. There are a lot of Adelaide mids I like. He's not one of them. A case of style over substance IMHO.

I doubt anyone is going to take Dunn or Bail no matter how you dress the deal up. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Why bring religion into football?

For that matter, Cross is equally adept on either side of the body. So much so, I "think" he's a right footer, but can never be sure.

Lennon more suited to our needs in my opinion, and i think he will be there at 9

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
