According to the AFL Player Rankings we only have 2 players in the Top 100 of the competition and only 5 in the top 200.

The Official AFL Player Ratings is the most sophisticated, detailed and wide-ranging statistical system ever devised for AFL footy.

To come up with the ratings, we record each kick, mark and handball in every game played but also where on the ground those possessions took place, whether or not the player was under pressure and whether the disposal hit the target.

Other crucial elements, such as chasing, corralling, perceived and actual physical pressure to assess each player’s impact in creating or disrupting scoring chains, are also collated.

In an 18 team competition, that's an average of only 5.5 players per club, so it's to be expected that the bottom teams like MFC will only have a couple of players who make the list. So only having two players make that list is no more damning than what we already know about where the club is currently placed.
