Well, it seems that David Schwarz will be the only happy Melbourne "supporter".

Seriously is M.Jamar colour blind? He continually taps straight down the throat if the opposition week in week out! God it's frustrating

he has been doing that for years

Dunn has been putrid.

And yet I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he'd been given a three year extension.

Neeld won't be there in 2014. That's decided. We now need to treat this year like 1997. Before this week, I saw absolutely no hope whatsoever. I now see that we have some good players but it now comes down to the club getting some class into the unit and cutting some of the list cloggers. The endeavour is OK but what kills us are shocking, shocking skills. I noticed that after the Freo game last year. I wondered how we could get 18 (?) weeks into the season and still have this abysmal a skill level. The next batch of recruits we need to get in need to be assessed on the following 'Can you play now?' and 'Can you play at all?' While Toumpas has looked better today and I won't close the book on him, I would have thought that Ollie Wines would have been a better pick up for our more immediate concerns. No more of this 'will you be in our next premiership team?' Red and Blueprint crap.

We will need to turn over 10 more blokes at the end of the year. There will be triers in there but some of em will have to go unfortunately.

Gee, when they mentioned all of our outs, we aren't doing too bad.

Frawley, Grimes and Clark are 3 out of our best 5..

Then throw in Dawes going down, Viney out... We have a bit to work with.

Matt Jones is playing really well.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
