I thought Couch was a rookie. In my opinion just another of Neelds list cloggers.

Best on for Casey the last two weeks.

Something is going right with him.

Not a list clogger until we the vast majority of our list is better than him. IMO he is a better option than quite a few guys at the moment - has a great work ethic and is not afraid to get his hands dirty at all. Hope he gets a run later in the year.

It's more about pace.

Couch and Magner in the same team makes McLean look like Hussein.

Well I suppose there are similarities...

Two good-looking blokes who enjoy a good burn-out?

Hogan is a good field kick, but obviously needs work on his set shots. To be worried by any facet of his game, considering he's the best talent to walk into this club in 40 years, is neurotic.

Is there a reason why we are not offering hogan 5 years like the GC did with Martin?

Should have been done already, hopefully it gets done soon.

Thank you. You know, the sprinting guy!! Anyhoo, you all get my analogy.

Haha I do. I agree that it would be hard to fit both in the 22, but having both on the senior list would be a better option than two other blokes.

I believe he has already been offered a contract but has put on hold for now to see what happens.

We've been through this before but they way the club is now we can offer what ever we like but it would be highly unlikely that he would sign. Any manager worth his salt would hold off until the dust settles.

Alternatively can we just drop the hype on this kid a tad. He is playing well at VFL level I hope like everyone that it means he is a gun but gee over the years how many gunnas have we seen? Schwartz could have been anything but stuffed through injury, Jackovich injury, attitude? Charles injury, neglect, Glenn Lovett injury, jurrah, community meltdown, Warren Dean, knee, Tingay workplace injury, where do I stop on the talent that has for not been fully realised over the years. Let us give him some time and space to make his way into the seniors and treat him like any of the others. If we as a club have got our act together in two years time he will re sign ata fair price.

I believe he has told some of the players at the club he will go back to WA when he can

That's cute. Trying to make a name for yourself???

You've obviously not seen him play.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
