i think the fd might try a full man on man effort this week and try to play with a bit of venom

players tagged will be interesting and maybe some have spoken to mn and have asked for special roles to play

at least we will get to see abit of fire from the team

And this is based on what?,,,,a dream perhaps?....a hunch?

"at least we will get to see abit of fire from the team"....why? ....what leads to this creative conclusion?

Delusional.

At least you know what you're getting with Joel Mac, and that is 100% effort for 4 quarters. We could do a lot worse than playing him.

This is going to sound completely nuts, but here goes...

IN the bailey ear we played the saints at etihad and joel started as a defensive forward that day. We got some injuries and he had to go back )tappy i think). This was the day that bartrum kicked 40 meters sideways (and about 50 meters in height) slowly to another defender which led to a turnover and a goal against us just as we were pressing hard. I never forgave him for that.

Anyway I thought Joel was really good - aggressive, tackled hard, hit bodies and worried defenders. Intimidation through intent, I also think that his wonky disposal hurts us less in the forward line and his commitment to contests is a greater asset there.

I remember that game. He was marking everything, playing as a really good lead up forward.

Just don't let him anywhere near the goals.

Boys were training the house down. Cale Morton stopped by and said that the standards were way better than he was used to at West Coast, and that he'll be requesting a trade back to the Dees in October in the hope that he'll be able to crack the top 15 runners at the club. Rohan Bail hit every single target laces out; Gillies looked agile, quick and made great decisions; Sellar was nailing every shot from about 60m out against the breeze.

Then I woke up.

Your display picture captures this moment perfectly!

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
