Alright im back. Who missed me?

Probably a bit dramatic today. Im still fuming but I cant walk away.

Apologies

Don't worry about it, we all knew you would be back.

Welcome back - we need to stick together now, if we are to ever improve

My family are essendon supporters. Wait, make that barrackers. They are never members but do [censored] like pay for pictures holding Premiership cups without any sense of irony.

Jonesbag Im tipping youre a member. Thats real support.

I figure most on this site are. Im tempted to do what you did, but if your like me you cant look away.

Think about what it's like to hear of Richmond supporters in the past tearing up their memberships, or more recently microwaving them.

I always thought the concept was laughable.

I'm not laughing now, but it brings some perspective.

Both to how they felt abou their club at the time, and to how overdramatic we are being about our current situation.

I love it.

You have me beaming.

We WILL get out of this.

This is REAL committment.

It'll be painful and longer than we'd like, but we'll get there.

And it'll be worth it.

A lot of supporters would be jumping off us after last night.

It's embarrassing to even say you support Melbourne now.

After the tanking saga and now this, I can only imagine how the players feel.

I can see our membership dropping sharply.

With the franchise sides coming in, it's easy for people to just jump [censored].

But, have faith, we have Viney, Hogan, Kent, Howe, Blease and a few good kids hopefully coming next year.

It can all change pretty easily, we just need the right board, coach to get the boys going.

I do understand people jumping off while Neeld is in charge though, but do get back on board when we get a decent coach.

Would be a shame to lose passionate supporters, we are all hurting and frustrated atm and embarrassed.

I'm angry enough to punch holes in walls during and after the game, but I'm actually proud to be a Melbourne supporter right now.

It hurts, and I hate it, but I'm tough enough to take it.

I'm not taking the easy way out.

My mates give me hell, but I'm copping it on the chin.

Our team is crap. So what?

I'm not some weak little princess that only supports their team when they're doing well.

I'M OUT TOO!!

OUT on the [censored] that is...drowning my sorrows after 7 nights of night shift and last nights debacle but...

I'll always stick by the Melbourne Football Club through thick and thin. 36 years of unfulfilled hope, 4 family memberships, constant flack from mates and plenty of disappointment...

Hurts like hell right now but one day the tide has to turn. I don't know what the answer is right now for the club but the answer for me right now is the amber ale!

Carn the DEE'S!!

Im with ya mate.

I am a very passionate Aussie Rules suppoter and I'm over going for a useless club which I was talked into going for as a kid.

From what I have heard from older suppoters, apart from the stint with Neil Danaher where we were up and down for 7 years and we were lucky to get into the 2000 grand final, we have been crap since the 60's

Nothing will change in the next 40 years.

I don't go for any club anymore.

I'm out.

Just be glad you don't support the saints or bulldogs.

'Attention seeking drama queen' status acknowledged.

Harden up Lucy.

He realised his error.

No need to clip him over the ears.

TBH, I am sure his Ess supporting mates would call him weak if he did renounce.

Edit: I meant 'he' realised his error, not 'I'. Sounded more arrogant than usual...

Well worthy of a clipping over the ears if posted in a public forum.

I copped plenty of filthy texts from Bummers supporters and some really got at me, didn't post about it on here though (until now I suppose).

Moral of the story? Move on, harden up.

Being a Melbourne supporter is just a lose - lose scenario hey? No way out.

When I was a young lad I went for the bombers, then one day my dad took me to the side and let me know that that I am related to the Cordner family and David is my cousin and pointed him out while he was playing when we were on Easter holidays I was about 10 years old. Since then I have switched to Melbourne. And to be honest I don't regret it one bit and not even 1% of me has ever felt like switching back.

All I got to say to people who make stupid threads like this is.. don't let the door hit you on the way out :)

My wife is an Essondon supportor and last year we had a bet who ever wins out of Melb and Ess has to take the other out to dinner well u guessed it I made her take to the most expensive restaraunt i could find.

IT'S ONLY A GAME :)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
