Hi Pates,

Good job - well paced, tightly edited little film.

Most enjoyable: even the bloke in the black n' white.

Great film Pates, but it became a bit of a Horror story when I realised the Pies Fan was married and had a child, I wonder if he grows up to be prestigious and above the law lol.

Thanks everyone, as far as I know Angelo doesn't post on 'ology anymore. It was funny that night of the scarf burning it just sort of happened that I ended up in the middle of them, always thought that if I wanted to become a war cameraman I'd only need to show that footage to a network!

Good work Pates, enjoyable viewing.

I have met Angelo on a number of occasions and contrary to what most might believe, he is pretty much a quiet family man - 5 kids if I recall and all decked out in Demon gear. He hasn't posted on Demonology for a couple of years - more is the pity.

Would you mind posting the doco on Demonology Pates ? Many who don't read here would be appreciative.

I'll try doing it today, I think last I check there was an issue with posting from my account but its been a long time so it's probably ok now.
Nice work Pates.

Are you working in the film industry now?

I work in the television industry doing outside broadcasting. I've actually started getting into doing the television broadcast of the football. I've decided to specialise in doing the slow motion replay and got a bit of a break doing sevens coverage last year, hoping to make it a regular thing this year. It was actually doing this film that made me want to get into sports television.

An old friend of mine (who I'm currently trying to reconnect with) is Drew Dimmick. a former Nine Sports cameraman (cricket mostly) who always seemed to be operating from all of the difficult spots such as the light towers - he's now freelance, but I'm pretty sure I've heard him referenced in the cricket recently, so I guess Nine still use his skills. He's another Swinburne lad from the early 70's... if I manage to reconnect, I'm happy to put him in contact Pates if you can see any point in that.

Certainly, I'm always keen to get more contacts through the industry. It's so damn competitive!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
