2012 premiership player from Norwood in the SANFL.

Dean Terlich

Norwood, SA

DOB: 13/12/1989 . Ht: 182cm Wt: 80kg.

Dean made the transition from a forward to a backman this year and played really well as a medium rebound defender. A great ball carrier who is very strong and takes them on and gets through traffic really well. He was formerly on Sydney's rookie list and he's a good chance to go - David Oatey, Norwood talent manager.

Dean Kent from Perth remains a Demon while Dean Terlich stays a Redleg!

Here's an interesting article on him from SA - Terlich caps stunning turnaround

A rebounding defender, previously on Swans list. Age 22.

Clearly wasnt too confident of being drafted by this: "I haven't heard a lot," Terlich said. "I'm happy where I am. Obviously I want to play AFL football but if nothing happens, nothing happens."

Bears a slight resemblance to a certain Jones lad pre hair removal... hope he shows the same endeavour.

So we have two players who played in the last two SANFL premierships.

Toumpas from Woodville-West Torrens of 2011 @ Terlich from Norwood of 2012.

At least there's a theme of getting players from winning cultures.

Megahead???

Nah I'm F***in ugly Kick my F**in head in you wouldn't know the diff. I fink.

I think he may be a chance Rd 1.

Small defender with pace - direct replacement for Bartram.

Don't know whether he has the same endeavour and work ethic but the chance is there if he wants it.

The club should be desperate to keep Grimes in the guts...

Pace and marking look like his strong assets also a great chace down to stop a guy running in for goal. Nothing lost late in the draft ya just never know

Ummm, that vision was pretty impressive.

I know they would only pick the best bits, but he has pace, skill, looks confident with the footy and can read the play.

I know I am calling this early but he is 22 and should he work his arse off the PS - he is a chance to play Rd 1.

The current premiers and best in the business at getting the most out of delisted players have delisted him... Does that mean anything?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
