Welcome Dave I know you'll give your all.

wow, didnt see this one coming. A bit unsure but i suppose he wont cost us much and good chance (barring no injuries) that he will make the ones!!!

I think this is an ok pick up.

Whats our highest pick?

Are you beside yourself with joy Robbie?

Absolutely, I haven't been this happy since my two youngest kids got measles at the same time, that was 30 years ago.

This way we are ensuring we get him and our late picks probably not of great value in any case. If he goes into the psd GWS or GC could snaffle him

And we wouldn't want that, would we?

Welcome to the club Rodan. Already looking sharp!

Whose body was that originally, and where the bloody hell are they??! :P

Happy with this. I had a feeling he would be on the radar when he got the flick from Port. Every time I saw him in 2012 I thought he was pretty good. Gets his own ball and then finds space. At the very least he adds depth, but could be more than that.

It was beamers body.. rodan filled it in quite nicely

Probably a poor choice of phrasing.

Nice shading though, that is some good photo-shopping!

I hate to say it, and I really hope this pays off, but the club has overcorrected now. They have gotten some experience in now but what will become of the youth that still has potential to come good? I was all for bringing leadership into the club but it seems now we are picking these blokes as stop gap measures to stop the bleeding.

i'm surprised that people are against this... have any of you seen the MFC play? i think he fit's in fairly well, considering he can get the freaking ball. Always been underrated in the AFL

Was going to ask the same question. I'm assuming the people on this board do watch us play, but sometimes comments reflect otherwise. We are shocking and just lost 3 of our oldest players. Should we instead be drafting someone with pick 79 and delist them 2 years later? We need some older players with bigger bodies, a bit of pace, and a can kick goals. If he doesn’t work out who cares, what has he cost us? You can’t just play an under 24 side every week.

Thanks mate, up for any freelancing work if anyone needs some graphic design - feel free to send me a PM!

And for those wondering who the body was, I used a pic of Rodan and cut out moloney (in action) jumper. Then put that over rodans body with a few tweaks ;)

Ok, I take back what I said in the other thread, fair enough. But when Port don't want you, there's generally a major problem.

A good move if you are bleeding to death.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

    TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
