WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CAMERON PEDERSEN

Recommended Posts

Mature age - 25 years old. Played 16 games for North, but only two this year. Can't get a game because of Petrie, Hansen, and Tarrant. Played 14 games last year and looked pretty good averaging 5 marks and kicked 18 goals. He's 193cm's and has been playing ruck in the VFL. He has been in the bests 11 times in 15 games, including 9 in a row, and is averaging 6.5 marks a game.

I haven't seen enough of him, but I remember he came on the scene last year and did well for a debut season. Some will say that if Hansen is getting a game ahead of him he must be no good, but I'm more interested in posters who actually have a good idea of him. How agile is he and what is his pace like ? Could he help Clark in the forward-line for a few years ?

As you possibly know, for me its mostly on TV but with that caveat.....

He seems like a combative type and good hitup player from deep. Maybe a bit "same/same" as Clark?

Would he inhibit Fitzpatrick's development in the same spot? Will Fitz even make it?

Not sure about the engine or sideways movement but very good depth I'd have thought as a lead up type.

I thought he looked good in a couple of games last year. Certainly comfortable at senior level. And certainly worth a look.

You'd delist Cook and recruit Pedersen in a heartbeat.

No, you would.

Flushing down the toilet the 2 years spent developing a KPF for nothing really is as stupid as it sounds.

Brad Scott would say hes a required player(depth like H-mac), so it would take a good pick to get the deal done.

He's not worth #3 #4 or #13 and our 2nd rounder which will hopefuly be taken on JV.

And I can't see NM wanting any of our fringe/reject players, They would only listen if you threw up a name like Sylvia or Frawley (not gonna happen). It would need a third party to get any deal done.

I saw him and liked him. But is he only 193?. We really need another biggy for that key CHF slot.

Khan Haretuku from Frankston Dolphins?

198cm, 98kg key forward and kicked a few bags of goals in a forward line starved of opportunities. He turns 23 next month also so we wouldn't be waiting on a kid.

Also has the ability to pinch hot in the ruck if need be.

His first quarters are his best. He drops off after that.

Toilets have got to be flushed at some point or they get backed up.

If you had seen him yesterday at Casey you would do a double flush.

Wonder if this signals Collingwood think Cloke is GONE - or is it just back-up for Jolly. If its just back up for Jolly does not exactly sound like an exciting role. But it does sound like a player of interest for us - if Martin goes.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast

Many warned that this was a danger game and the Demons were totally outclassed all game by a young Eagles team at Optus Stadium in Perth as they were defeated by 35 points.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
