JB and Billy were saying that DB is holding on to a story for the footy show tonight about a club who's players are unhappy. Please don't let it be us , this year has sucked enough already!

I wouldn't mind if it IS us - there are many players who have shown that they are happy by their leadership and by re-signing with the club. If they were unhappy then they wouldn't have stuck around. The ones who will be unhappy are the ones who got it easy during the Dean Bailey era and are now being asked to work much harder than they want to.

I just hate the club being portrayed by the media as some kind of dis functional circus.

We're the same as every other club.. Thinking we're above all others is what starts a disfunction in the first.

Cleaning up a mess is messy, but it's the first part of renewal. Take our medicine and keep moving onto becoming a healthy club.

The media's excessive interest in all things MFC, is it a blessing or a curse?

Curse when bad news and blessing when good news.

Why would it not be a surprise if it is us. Would make it an interesting night at the B&F. I just want this year to be over. In saying that they said it was a big melbourne club. I would like to think we are big but I hope we arent that big. Im sick of hearing stories about how the players and coach dont get on. It would be nice for another club to be in the news for other reasons. Lets hope its essendon.

My guess is Bulldogs.

Lol... Green, Moloney, Rivers, Cook, Gysberts, Davey all gone/possibly gone/or rumored... It's us.

*edit: plus Jurrah and Lawrence

If it is us, will be interesting to see Gaz's reaction, he's used the show to have a crack at the players to fire them up before, so he doesn't always defend the club as such.

I don't have a shred of sympathy for our playing group at the moment, so if it's us I'll be a little bit pissed at the players.

Anyway, my money's on Carlton.

It probably SHOULD be us, isn't that what everyone is wanting? All depends on the angle I guess, whether it's players unhappy with their coach etc or the obvious angle of the players that have left in recent times.

Thing is...

We aren't exactly exciting news. Everyone already kinda assumes that our players are not that content atm.

Why would we be newsworthy in terms of this?

Lol... You know my thing about not trusting people with hardly any posts...

I heard last week that there was some serious infighting at essendon and James hird has even offered his resignation.

I rest my case.

Same reason people slow down to look at a car crash...

.... DB is 'holding onto a story'

Heck even hutchy could figure that out some of our players are not happy, I'll admit DB ain't much higher up the food chain, but its not THAT exciting.

Wouldn't exactly be a shock would it...
