Forget about it, must be done for the year. What can we possibly gain by playing him for one more game? Important player who must be put on ice for 2013.

whereas the story on the mfc website contradicts the herald sun column.

it states jamar a chance to return this week via the seniors, and all our injured players, stef Martin included, are out for the year:

www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/145155/default.aspx

I'd take the mfc article as accurate, that sun column always seems to a lot of guesswork involved

From the MFC site:

So that's 9 out for the season

Add Jurrah and Lawrence and you get 11

Is that some sort of record for round 20

There is 2 weeks left, any player with more then 1 week of injury will be listed as season.

One would hope so.

Absolutely no point in risking aggravation of anyone's injury in this twilight of a dismal season.

Get 'em right for preseason and round 1 2013.

Does anyone have any details on Taggerts back injury?

Its bad

Sorry I could not resist however it is a good question as nothing is said about it.

Not sure why clubs are so secretive they all seem to do it.

His initial injury was on one side of his back, so whilst recovering the other side overcompensated and got injured also... apparently it's quite common. I can't explain it well, but Misson talked about it a few times on the weekly injury report video thing. Said they're being ultra-conservative, no need to rush a first year player... should be right for a full preseason. The injury list videos are good, they're worth a watch each week. .

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
