What is up Greg Denham's bum?

I get his point about us not blooding new talent going back to the familiar Dunn, Bate etc. but unfortunately for Greg he hasn't done his homework again.

We recruited 4 players onto our senior list for this year, all but one, Taggert who is on the long term injury list. Clark and Sellar have been regulars, Tynan played the first game but has struggled with injury from then on.

Of all the players on our senior list only Cook, Davis and Taggert (injured) have not played a senior game so his point about us not playing debutants does not hold water, we don't really have many left to play. I would like to see Cook get a game but the club want him to earn it, fair enough.

He went on about Gysberts not getting a game but seriously he missed most of the pre season, did his ankle early in the season for Casey came back and broke his jaw within seconds of that comeback and is only just getting some match fitness. I want to see him in the senior team too but Denham needs to look at why he isn't, not just make unfounded statements.

We rookied 4 players 2 will have played senior football by the weekend and the other 2 Williams and Sheahan are project players. We have recruited 4 players onto the main list and 4 onto the rookie list, 5 of the 8 have played, one is on the long term injury list and 2 are project players.

At the end of the day though we are easy targets and Denham likes to take cheap shots, it's the same bloke who said Carlton wouldn't get within 12 goals of Collingwood last week. Carlton and Ratten were down so he took another cheap shot.

Do not answer this literally!

But seriously, what's his beef?

But why not.. It's the same stuff that's inside his skull.

Bitter

Melbourne Bitter

For some reason he despises the DEES

I think that is a good thing from some one with his lack of intellect and bias to the far west

What scintillating repartee has he expressed this time?

What did he say to get on your goat?

Some home truths?

Is there a linkage?

Have I missed something?

Basically gave us a spray for not blooding enough youth. Seems to have utter disdain for us every time he opens his mouth.

Not sure if there's a link. Try the SEN website.

I gave up tuning in to his crap.

No point trying to counter his views as he simply doesn't care to listen to what others say. And will never apologise or acknowledge when he has been proven wrong.

You know the saying...

If you argue with fools for too long, you begin to look like one.

The guy ha sh!t for brains...so sh!t for comment. Hes a Monday expert and not a good one. Has a pathological hate of the Dees for some reason.

How many games you coached Greg ?

How many premierships ?

Journalistic clown !

This guy hates the dees but the one thing that would maybe shut him up is we start winning.

Still would love to slap the ugly head.

Who does the rat go for?

Hes just trying to stay relevant, was a spud as a footballer and hasnt got much going for him off field either,

so you cant blame the bloke for trying to stay in the game.

Whatever he does, he'll never be as bad as David King.

Never knew what he looked like until I saw this pic.

LOL, as I would have thought. Looks like some codger they dragged in off Swan Street on his way to a Pub or Brothel. Denham is tune out time. Loves a soft target like Melbourne. I reckon one of ours must have p55ed on his shoe at the footy.

I heard Dermott Brereton saying similar things on the weekend during the game. He talked about Stefan Martin and how he

can't believe he has not been playing this season. If he did his homework he would realise that he has been injured pretty much the whole year.

To many journalists/commentators just run their mouth without looking into the facts.

Damn, there must be a heap of journo's that post on here then. Present company excluded, or included, your choice, I'm not fussed!

It's a similar story on League Teams which he hosts. I struggle to watch it when they're discussing Melbourne because the views of the panel members are often horribly misinformed.

I thought that was pretty funny when I heard it, Derm does come out with some garbage at times. Kinggggy is good at this stuff too, he sprouts off stats to back his so called facts and if you do a check you find they are way off the mark.

When I first heard Finey I thought he was some yob they dragged off the street, but after giving him a good listen I enjoy him too and find he is one of the more informed football people going around.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
