Oh please they troll these sites day and night looking for a lead.

If we wanted to start a rumour as fact and all got behind it, we could easily fool the press into making it front page news.

just started a post suggesting the same thing....

He is playing in a different role to what you would like obviously! Be patient. He is hungry and will prove he is worthy of being in the best 22.

Neeld is making him versatile. I have great faith in James Magner!

Dont worry about him. He will make the grade and prove all doubters wrong!

Worry about Bate making the team & Morton holding his position. There the worry!

Why is this thread still open ... Thread starter is just stirring the pot for attention. I could reply as to why magner is clearly not a liability but I it would be like arguing with someone that the sky in blue.

This is one of those threads where you can extrapolate from the title alone how much of a muppet the author is. I didn't read the OP or any content either. Muppet.

I like James Magner, I can't understand why he is playing mainly as a defensive forward, Yes is his good overhead and in close but we are getting smacked in the midfield. Play Dunn as our defensive forward he can play that role and also kick goals and get Magner back around the footy.

And my point is that I don't see any upside in him whereas clearly guys like blease,Morton, gysberts,Mckenzie, couch etc all have potential and need game time. There has to be a reason why he was overlooked in 6 drafts

Very disappointed with this post. Magner's a liability and there "has to be a reason why he was overlooked in 6 drafts", yet you are saying Couch has upside and potential and needs game time. I don't know the exact amount of drafts Tom nominated for - I'm sure it was at least 2, and the fact that we picked him up in the rookie draft means that there would have to be a reason why other Clubs didn't pick him in the National Draft wouldn't it?

To top that off, Blease, McKenzie and Morton are in the team, and Gysberts has been injured more often than not this season. I can't see how Magner is harming those players development.

Sorry Gotzy, those sort of comments sh!t me.

This thread may raise a few eyebrows but i am getting increasingly frustrated with James Magner. I know many have been singing his praises all year but for a mature age player with a big body he is not contributing enough and if anything just compounding our problems in the midfield. We already have Moloney, jones, trengove,Sylvia and Mckenzie to do the bullocking work in the middle. Magner doesn't do it anywhere near as well as those players and he gives us absolutely nothing on the outside in terms of run and spread. His disposal is poor,he fumbles constantly and he completely lacks class to influence a game.

I love his attitude and his effort but unfortunately I can't see any upside in magner and he's only going to keep outside runners like blease, grimes and gysberts out of the middle going forward!tough call but I'd send him to the magoos.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
