I will be surprised if we break five figures...

I hate that stadium and refuse to attend

I do too but I am waiting to see the sides before I make a final decision.

I can't see how we'll crack 10k this week. They'll probably close level 3.

They decided weeks ago to close level 3 for this game.

We have over 36,000 Members why will the crowd be so low. Cant wait to hear all the excuses.

- Large number of MCC members are club members. They don't venture away from the MCG, especially considering members have to pay to get in this week.

- Etihad is rubbish

- We've just lost by 186 + 76 points

- It's Etihad

10k guarenteed. No way over that. We hate going to Etihad to watch games, [censored] ground, no atmosphere, in the middle of nowhere, no parking, we just got smashed, club is at lowest ebb, too many supporters aren't true enough to still rock-up, its Etihad, Eagles is a top 4 side. The season is now over unless a miracle occurs on Sunday. There that's all the reasons i can think of.

It's a home game, entry is included for all members including 3 and 5 game members, assuming they haven't already used their entitlement.

Because 50% of them live in regional Victoria and not in the suburb (sic) of Melbourne. That's our demographic.

Oh yes, 13,002. My wife and I will come down from Wangaratta.

well here goes

- got belted by them earlier in the year.

- have lost to every one of the top 6 teams by 10+ goals

- have not won at Eithad since adam played fullback for Jerusalem.

- I doubt there was more than 10 000 Dees at the G on saturday.

- dees traditionaly stay away fron ES

- looks good snow this weekend

so add all that together and we will struggle to get more than 8000 plus Eagles supporters.

How is that!

In the early years of the stadium we had clearly the second best record there behind original home tenant,Essendon. Top sides dont have hoodoos ! Pluses for me include its proximity to Southern Cross, closeness of most seats to the playing surface and for most Away games only $20 un-ticketed General Admission. If you make the effort to attend this Sunday you will at least be guaranteed a prime close-to-the- front balcony seat !

the solution is very simple

"Start winning games"

and the crowds will come.

add an occasional win at ES would help.

also make sure the game is not over at quarter time

Dont tell me we have to put up with "off to the snow" references on our OWN fan site. I've been an MFC member for 38 years and an MCC member for 44 and couldnt name an aquaintance who is partial to such activities let alone drives a Range Rover. The Couldabeens have a lot to answer for !

The best is when MFC supporters buy into paying out MCC/MFC fans.

I sit in the MCC every week, and the crowd is almost always quite good in the MCC. As for the rest of the ground (which is quite easy to see)...

mate it is just a joke.

don't lose your sense of humour

as we don't have a lot else left.

I may be a little thick but I do not understand what you are trying to tell me.

Please explain!

A little sampler of crowd numbers for the next 5 years of Scully's career?

now be nice RR we will get bigger crowds over the next five years

I would never consider going to this hole usually but I am thinking about it this time...remember Jamar kicking 5 against Carlton a few years ago...play him in the forward/ ruck with Maxie, put SME at Full Back..maybe Fitzy on the bench

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
