Great initiative Cam but would love this after work.

that was cool to see a ceo chatting to the supporters, answering questions, being very approachable. Love the way the club is at the moment, being very approachable from the most fickle supporter to the more hardcore.

That was incredibly insightful. Great initiative. I asked Cam if he could confirm whether the 1933 demon was the logo that would be re-introduced alongside the new Emblem (Cam quick to remind me that it was an Emblem, not a logo). He stated that a demon would be reintroduced, but that the demon goes back to the 60's and not the 1933 one that has been floated around by some posters. So short answer, we are still definately, bringing back the demon!

I had a fight with a pack of graphic designers about this. They claimed our new logo was to busy and need refining. All they could comment on was how it would come up as a fax and B. how would look as an icon

After a few red wines, I told them where to stick their advice since they couldn't tell the difference between a logo and an emblem. Wouldn't spend any money at their frms, clueless.

Can't believe Cam Schwab reads demonland. Hope he ignores the paranoia and sack Bailey threads. :P

Give the bloke some credit!

Sounds like a great initiative, but can't access it when at work.

Shame.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hour or so with Cam Schwab and other Demon supporters. It was great to see him in his office at the MCG surrounded by all Demon paraphernalia and of course his guitar. Very informative and it reassures we have the best in the business.

Could not agree more "Hangon007"

God help me for raising this but!!!!!

His comment re the clash jumper was interesting!

What I got from the comment was similar to this year but with a little tinkering.

So A white jumper with trimings in red and Blue. ( I can now endure it )

Please do not go off at me, just my interpretation

he possibly saw them, but did he like them?

nothing to indicate in what he said

I'd speculate something based on new emblem or part of it (e.g. MFC letters)

or, the new demon logo he alluded to

see post #68, #77 and the early options. I bet the jumper will resemble one of those jumpers

I'm FULLY aware of that, doh

I just said that he didn't make any reference to any influence from demonland

The possibility of the MFC letters on the jumper was obvious to anyone who had an early peek at the emblem

that clearer for you

Still can't understand why it's necessary to have a clash jumper that has white in it. Things worked nicely for more than 100 years without them at all (nearly 115 in the case of Collingwood and Essendon).

And how on earth did the AFL allow a new franchise in the GCS to have a predominantly red jumper when there are already enough in the competition with that colour?

I suppose GWS will have a blue and white guernsey?

Many of us can't understand it WJ and of course GWS will be granted those colors, they already have been haven't they?

Gold Coast have released three jumpers already, their home, away and clash jumper. Their clash is predominately white...

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
