Yes on Scully. Don't know about Trengrove but he's doing well in the SANFL.

I believe so.

Scully will play just as many as a Rich this year IMO. He's that good.

Trengove will be ready, he's been playing for Sturt of late and playing well. Becoming accustomed to 'hard bodies' in at Senior level.

Others may have different opinions.

Thanks Guys i saw a lot of WAFL games last year through work at the ABC, but we don't get the interstate Feeds this year.

Last year i watched Rich Nik Nat (freak Talent) & Taylor walker all evolve-was great. I can't hate 'em!!!

Our young must be that good & Better.....

Are Scully & Trengove as "ready made" as Daniel Rich.

The difference between Rich and both Trengove and Scully is that Rich has an unbelievable physique. He has such a huge amount of muscle bulked onto his frame for an 18/19 year old, that even people who train 10 years might struggle to achieve. He is just lucky that his body has the genes to easily put on muscle. Morton on the other hand, has a body type that really struggles to put on muscle. He'd have to eat a horse to put on any weight.

Question i need answering as best as possible.

Are Scully & Trengove as "ready made" as Daniel Rich. I saw a lot of Rich on TV. I haven't seen the 2 Boys for this year, only go on what i read.

Are they Ready for senior AFL straight away??

Yes and no. Rich is ridiculously overdeveloped, and has the skill set to make an impact immediately... including a loooong, flat, accurate kick, which is something that is as useful at 18 as it is at 32.

Scully isn't that kind of player necessarily. And neither he nor Trengove have the big body of Rich right now. But then, who does? In terms of work ethic, skills, and engines... I can say at least in Scully's case, he could play a lot of footy next year. Trengove has also been playing amongst men all year too.

The only thing will be how their bodies handle the physical stuff. I'd have said the same as all of this about Grimes, but his first season was ruined by a back injury. Scully is fairly slight... Trengove less so, but still just a teenager. There's a reason they call Rich Bam Bam.

I heard at the weekend from a "source" very loosely associated with the club that Shaun Burgoyne will request a trade.

Same source also added a bit of background to what Rucci alluded to as the "cliques" among the players which is affecting their playing as a team and may be part of the reason Shaun wants out. Not surprising both Burgoynes and Pearce are supposedly members of the same clique with Senior Burgoyne being the prime "agitator", as also alluded to by Rucci when mentioning "off field issues" affecting his on field performance.

All is not well down in Alberton it would seem.

thats for sure.. seems to be a pigs breakfast of 'affection and love' pmsl !! I geta few bottles from a SA wino mate..he an avid Crow boy..he thinks its hilarious. They seem on the point of implosion .

Pearce is more than handy. I say it again ..trade week 2009 is going to be very intereting..ought to be a lot more 'interests with weight"

I'm not surprised if this is all true. I'm glad you mentioned Pearce, it confirms what I heard. I wonder how Bailey got along with these blokes. :)

Food for thought.

edit: And Josh Mahoney...

Probably why they're scrambling to get Hardwick back even though he's been knocked back by North and now probably the Tiges.

Don't blame the tiges either for choosing Hinkley.

Anyone seen the speech at 3/4 time in the GFL grand final?

That was against my team.

The bastard got them up that's for sure - they wouldn't have had a chance without him pulling the strings.

Yes, it seems it's Hinkley to Tigers, Hardwick to Port Adelaide like the Buckley/Malthouse and Roos/Longmire set-ups. Stuey Dew to replace Hardwick at Hawks?

I think with these sorts of developments Bailey will really be in the gun next year, re: media speculation as to his demise.

Same with Clarkson at Hawthorn.

Let's hope we can win enough games to keep this from happening. Let another club be the story

point 1 - you dont have to be involved in trade week

2 - DB is building a list of kids to grow learn and play together

3 - for the last time ,Rich was playing against men for two years before entering the AFL system, Scully , like Watts will be a star but MAY need time

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
