That's right, you heard it here first. Our very own Doggy Brown has signed on with Casey but I'm also pretty sure he is having a part time role with the Dees and I think he is an ambassador or something the Scorpions next year as well. I'm just not too sure.

Anyway that's what a friend of mine who he played with at West Adelaide told me yesterday. He also said Brown hated playing there this year because of the way Andy Collins ran the club and Brown hated him to bits as well.

A handy pick up for Casey next year I would say! ;)

Its good to see these type of ex-players wanting to still be involved with the club.

True. Good people such as N.Brown are invaluable for the Casey Footy Club. Would be great for the alignment.

Fantastic news.

Browny is one of those players who, regardless of their on-field success, leaves a really positive lasting mark on a football club.

Having him back involved will be fantastic for everyone. Our young players will do well to follow his work ethic and attitude.

I will never forget his reaction when we lost against Essendon in Daniher's last game as coach.

Andy Collins wanted to take over Sandy in 1998...he wanted to get a group of his own people to run the club....maybe he's doing something along those lines at West Adelaide...

Wonder if Neaves and Ferguson will follow Nathan Brown back to Victoria

While I have loved Dogga's attitude and spirit at MFC (not always his disposal) I hope he comes back as a net benefit to a younger playing list. I hope he is not the start of Casey being an "old boys" side for ex MFC players that are no longer AFL standard. I dont want Dogga's selection to block the opportunities for young aspiring MFC players.

I certainly dont want Neaves and Ferguson at Casey.....and no I certainly dont want that "team" player Saunter there either!

I really doubt it would happen, but I'd be spewing if Neaves or Ferguson signed on for Casey. Ideally we'd want as few people holding up the 'rare' spots like the ruck or key position defence as possible.

Brown's another story though. He's a dime-a-dozen runner who most likely wouldn't be holding up the spot for anyone worth their salt, and he's a favourite son of the club who oozes leadership and would die for his teammates. I'd welcome him with open arms.

Bloody brilliant, i had so much admiration for him. He just constantly worked his butt off every time he went out onto the ground and i think it's fair to say he got every inch he could out of the talent given to him.

It'll be great to have our young guns learning from him at Casey.

Neaves is heading off to overseas for the year.. lost the passion for footy during the year after a fall out with andy collins

Andy Collins sounds like a fantastic bloke! Sure we can't entice him down to Casey..? :P

With you 100% Rhino.

Brown is a bit of an exception though. Will be good to see him about!

Brown should fit right in playing with players who match his skill and ability.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
