Nothing short of pitiful. A leadership group? Cameron Bruce played on 'Chubbs' Peterson and also Michael Osborne at times and they found the ball like they had a magnet on... he put no pressure on, he turned the ball over and did not assist the youngsters ind efence. It was only when he was moved, that the backs looked half decent. as for brad miller - physical presence of a midget... did not even look like taking a mark on the weekend, even when it was served up on a latter!! Thank goodnewshis wife is good at something... he must make contests, be more aggressive and act as though he is a leader.... brad green - he was simply outstanding. knocked himself out diving on a loose ball. then came back on and threw himself about!! junior - again, battled hard against sam mitchell all day... had some good patches but he tried his absoltue guts out for the club.. mroe of him and the young kids would learn very quickly!!! Our young kids were very impressive and no doubt will someday have the build of ahodge or a lewis but for the time being we have to grina nd bear it. Time for the leadership to show true leadership!!

the tools on the boundary line or boundary riders are one step away from commentating... the blonde idiot is mark howard or howie.. he is a nsw import that must have pi$$ed someone off north of the border... he will always interview dale thomas and lesser likes.... he is proof that you dont have to have talent!! andrew maher - no wonder sen is so poor in the ratings!! this bloke is a fool of the highest order... talks about his days at marcellin or wherever he bluffed his way through.... outstanding is a common word... the great man - anyone is great compared to you, so that is not saying much.. how about fascinating?? How was the armchair ride that the 'champion' riewoldt received... if robbo received treatment like that he would have kicked a thousand.... seriously umpire 32, would be lucky to get another game one would have thought..... exciting times - sylvia had a brilliant season and well, he could be anything.. an excellent base to build on... liam jurrah - wow!! nathan jones - massive steps this year. hard in and under and has helped having beamer... brent moloney - we have always known his importance but seriously, he had a cracking season and is without doubt one of the players a club like melbourne needs. passionate about the jumper and also a leader... mark jamar - again, dominated the ruck and think that when he has played we have played well... frawley - huge future ahead for this young tyro... he is super competitive, has great speed, has improved his ball skills and has a 10 year future ahead of him. very very exciting days ahead!!

was thinking the same with jakovich the other day........... very very exciting!!!

thanks robbo - a great servant of this club and should be sent out on the right note. he will not be playing for the demons next year. he has looked slow and the achilles injury would not have helped but he has been good for the club, as they have for him.. wish him the best of luck in the future and will always be a demon!!

not a great day for forwards but at the same time, the 1%ers are there for you when having an off day... the spoil from behind, the chase down, the pressure.... robbo has been a great servant of the footy club but think that the pace of the game has gone past him - whether it be his injury???? give him the last game to retire and a send off he deserves!!

and her final comments on saturday - how sweet is redemption? ummm, they won a home and away game by a point and the hawks won a premiership!!! seriously, pathetic!!!

surely robbo out and newton in? scarlett always kills us, so nothing new there!! robbo - how many times can he fall over, not tackle or miss tackles and not do the team thing? juice surely deserves some reward for working hard at casey....

was terrible - watched the replay agin this morning and what a B grade commentary team we were presented with..... she was very ordinary and made me mute the tv.... it annoys me that huddo is never discussed when we mention bias in commentators.... he was terrible on the weekend!! at the end of the commentary he goes - we should talk about melbourne as we havent mentioned them much..... the cheer squad having to sit 30 rows back..... the one sided umpiring!! ablett using hands in the back in the second quarter went unnoticed!! seriously, geelong is only good for oil refinery, ford cars at a stretch and train drivers!!

even had people discussing his form on radio last evening. he has been very important for the midfield - providing that big body we have lacked.. win his fair share of hitouts and hit them to advantage... his combination with moloney is fantastic!! very happy for him - he is a super competitior.. hates being beaten - as shown when lade took the mark in the third.... just could not get there after running the length of the field....

warnock, or also known as brother of robert, has been terrific this year but also the last couple. amazing what a bit of confidence can do. also think the reintroduction of rivers has been a key too - his ability to read the play is fantastic!! and also, frawley - a huge improver this eyar.. the best is yet to come for this back 6.. get garland back and well.... all starts with defence for mine and this has been a two to three year project.. now the midfield....

pj o'briens should have it on. if you are flying virgin, then try their flight lounge for a couple of hours for 30 bucks.... drink all their premium beverages, dips and spreads and then arrive just in time for your flight!!

was he tagging stanton? there were two passages of play - the kicking clanger through the middle... but the getting knocked off the ball so easily by stanton was embarrassing!!! needs to do a lot of hard work!!!

consistently inconsistent!! the 50 metre rule is still one of the most intresting in its application - you can walk over the amrk or to the side of the mark but it is not 50... you can rgab a player then let go - still not 50.. you can bury a bloke after amark - still not 50.. when a bloek takes a few steps, thens tops - this is 50. the wrestling or one on one;s are a simple case of paper, scissors, rock... they dont know so they guess... the umpiring was poor but it was as a simialr standard as to our foot passing and decision making in the third quarter!!
