one thing is the colour has to be mainly red, all suggestions better than the current one, and the club should put the potential design up for a vote on demonland and ask all supporters to vote for there favourite

While i'm all for the 80s royal blue, the suggested designs posted here are really impressive! Great work guys! If we didn't go with the royal blue, then either Demon4Life's design or the inverted red and blue jumper would be fantastic; much better than that silver embarassment.

Excellent choice. Love it.

I also like the ROYAL blue with the red yoke - different, but traditional.

1858 needs to be more predominant on all of our guernsey's and merchandise. WE ARE Melbourne...

Awesome designs guys.

I'd love to see what the inverse V looks like with the MFC logo. & I wouldn't be against having it on the home strip for good as well.

Look what I found on eBay... our #1 choice of alternative jumper so far.

SIMPLE ANSWER SOME ONE NEEDS TO TAKE THIS IDEA TO MELBOURNE BOARD

OUR AWAY JUMPER IS LIGHT BLUE WITH WHITE SHORTS SAME JUMPER WE WORE IN HERITAGE GAME LAST YEAR

NEXT YEAR HAS TO BE IT LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

The general concensus amongst many ( and I mean MANY ) Melbourne fans is that the lighter blue as you put it..or the Royal Blue 80's jumper ought be all but burnt and never see daylight again.. It was an abomination designed for the 'nouveau" colour telly. Our colurs are the tradition dark blue and red. THOSE ONLY !!

Do you hear us MFC ??

Points for effort but I think it looks like a jumper for an interstate-come-lately, prefer the inverted strip or Demon4Life design

Hey i like the all red one with the MFC on the front in blue and the number in white on the back.

I'd be more than happy to support that and buy one to. It reminds me a little of the old training

jumpers from back in the early 90s (i think).

Wasn't this a training jumper once? I seem to remember seeing people wearing something similar at the footy about 10 years ago. Or was it red letters on navy jumper?

Blue jumper with red lettering. I remember at the time thinking it looked very smart (if a little like Carlton's blue/white lettering design).

However the red/blue lettering is just the thing for an away strip. The club should act now!

Don't want to be associated at all with Port Adelaide.....even if they are different colours. Stay traditional. Let all the others have alternatives, and we wear the red and the blue!

Have either of you guys emailed the club these? Both are brilliant, are different, and actually have history behind them. Jimmy would love these. I would certainly buy one.

GAMEDAY: Match SIM vs North Melbourne

The Demons will take on the Kangaroos in match simulation play, starting from 10am AEDT and broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo. The play start time was brought forward from the initial 11am bounce, due to the high temperatures forecast.  The match sim will consist of four 25-minute qu

Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time. Activities included kicking for goal,  aerial , contest work etc. I noticed the following players not in match simulation Jack Viney  running laps and looks fine for round one . I think Kolt looks like he’s im

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
