  1. Hi all, random... but does anyone have a 2021 Adult Home Guernsey in a medium/large that they would like to sell? I've looked absolutely everywhere and no more available unfortunately. Either that or any ideas on where some may still be available?
  2. Oh wow. Okay, an extra $8000. Hmmm
  3. Yeah, I did a pre-order during the last quarter and Upgrade #1 and Upgrade #5 weren't options. Bit confused also.
  4. Come on Demons, 57 years, it's our time to stand tall Not crumble at our knees like when Duckwood gets the ball A free for this, a free for that, that's the Geelong way Let's put an end to their era, and show these pu$$ies how to play
  5. Sky is the limit with this group. Youngest side to win a final since Bulldogs in 2016... just need to keep it together.
  6. ... and this individual success has all been driven by a personal decision by Clarry to be a better 'team player'. It is so good to see.
  7. 1994-1995 should be in this list. Absolutely cruelled by injury in that era. All Australian's in each area of the ground (Lyon - Half Forward, Tingay - Wing, Neitz - Half Back). Schwarz performing at Wayne Carey levels. Jakovich having 10-11 shots on goal each week. Jim Stynes probably the best ruck in the competition. Prypke excelling at Full Back. Viney, and Lovett's in the guts. Massive missed opportunity.
  8. As frustrating as it is, I look at it like this... he is getting to the contest and making a good fist of it. That is half the battle. The hands will come with more consistent game time and some confidence. He could have kicked 5-6 goals the other night with the contests and positions he was putting himself in, but unfortunately he is just not holding them. 5-6 goals is a solid day out against a solid opponent. It will come eventually.
  9. I'm excited to see what Jason Taylor manages to pull from the rough. I've said it before, but each time there is a contract negotiation with him, just give him a blank cheque. His eye (and those that work with him) for talent is outstanding
  10. Yeah, his name was Tom Hawkins... and he got away with it despite breaking a cheekbone
  11. Cop the week?!? Bugger off!!! Hawkins fractures May's eye socket and got off no case to answer. Fritsch caused no injury at all to the kid and gets a week. If this isn't overturned on dispute, I'll be astounded.
  12. Yes! People have short memories. TMac was a very very solid 1st defender only 4yrs ago. He would be taking on a 3rd forward in our current team. He should dominate... strengthening up an already outstanding defence
  13. McDonald is playing 3rd tall it looks. Tomlinson out - Weiderman in
  14. One observation... he is more goal hungry now compared to 2020. Not a chance in hell he snaps over his shoulder from 40m out last year. He is backing himself in and will only get better. Exciting times ahead.
  15. I have had H&A Trident for nearly 15yrs. Away games are not guaranteed Level 2 seating, they are general admission entry, any upgrade you want is at your own cost.
  16. It is a Ratten to St. Kilda under Richardson scenario. If team doesn't perform, then Goodwin goes and Yze fills the void.
  17. We now need to lock him in for a few years. Would hate for him to finally start to be showing something and then walk out on us.
  18. Lots of recruiters said they'd have picked Young at 3... then he slips to Pick 7. Makes sense.
  19. I remember a lot of "Why did we take Oliver?" comments a few years ago. "Overweight, did even make Vic. Country, blah blah blah". I'm backing Taylor and gang to get it right here... even if it is an 'unconventional' pick.
  20. Very very very rarely look on here these days... but all of this reminds me of 'Grand New Flag'. Not getting my hopes up.
  21. Would have been happy with these picks if we had the chance: Gary Ablett Jr. (father-son) Stephen Silvagni (father-son) Dustin Fletcher (father-son) Kane Cornes (younger brother) Shaun Burgoyne (younger brother)
  22. That was his first draft I think (dated April)... he has since updated it and now has McCartin going at Pick #1. His phantom draft also has Reece McKenzie still available for us at Pick #40, and I hope this is the case come tomorrow night. He is the best forward in the draft in my opinion (including McCartin and Wright). Brayshaw, Petracca, and McKenzie would be a MASSIVE win for us. MASSIVE!
  23. Exactly... It is more wishful thinking that he gets to Pick #40. A key position player with his bulk just shouldn't move as well as he does. This is also bearing in mind he didn't even play TAC Cup last season. Big call, but I think he is Hogan-like in ways. I guess we will just see how he develops in time. I'd love to have him at Melbourne though.
  24. If it weren't for the fact that I reckon we as a club need more midfielders, I'd HAPPILY take McKenzie at Pick #3. Upside is massive I reckon... disregarding his size, and ability to monster opponents which will be negated a bit in the big league, I just reckon he has tools and movement that the others don't. If he ran a 13-14 beep he would be a top-3 lock.
  25. I'd rather take Brayshaw and Lever, delist a contracted player, then hope like hell that Reece McKenzie slips to Pick #40. 196cm/105kg beast full forward. He didn't play TAC Cup last season, so his name was never up there with the likes of McCartin, Wright, and Goddard... but jeez he can play. Pros: Has genuine speed and jump, unbelievable below his knees for a bloke his size, natural footballer who leads into the right spots, wears his heart on his sleeve, and has mongrel in spades. Cons: Poor endurance at this point, but hasn't been in the TAC Cup as long as other well known key position prospects. A bit hit and miss with his set shot... however, improved hugely throughout the season. Where he goes draft day is a complete guess to me... could easily slip to us at #40, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him bolt into top-10 calculations. I'll go on a limb and say that he will end up having a better career than McCartin.
