  1. Wattsy is growing self belief from the ruckwork, which 2 seasons ago he would have been too timid for. So he may get sore, but he grows more as a man. It's not the long term plan I'm sure, but its helping him realise what he can do.
  2. I like the idea of the bye to freshen the players after a rigorous H&A season. It is the perfect time to have one State of Origin game [WA v Northerners], & the females game. Also the Prelim weekend is a good time for the main State of Origin game [Vics v SA].
  3. red & blue; dark red & dark blue.
  4. Surprised she has to travel all the way, to Bunnings no less, to earn a sau-sage. silly sausage, doc
  5. Geelong have played a little above themselves, the 2nd half of year, imo. And sounds like they got tired. The swans aren't there yet, either.
  6. What is the point of having a final 8, if the teams below 5th have no chance of going thru. It's ridiculous, the way it has been for so long now.
  7. Playing cards are best held close to chest C13. The Cats had a rash last night, all over them, it was.
  8. Who says he can't play forward, he's just young & putting on weight. A good mark, great leap, & is mobile. He can learn. He is behind some senior rucks there, he would be number 2 with us.
  9. It would be great to see the Wiz back at the 'G' watching his boy lineup in Red'n'Blue.
  10. Sounds like a Clarkson 'renovator'. Maybe to replace Mitchell in coming years.
  11. maybe 'rubbed'... past tense? possibly damage has been dunn before now. He should be OK as a player, as long as he drops the beamer scharade. but we do need speed & gut runners.
  12. kidding, 'Donald' Dunn in the ruck.
  13. Swap him to the Saint'rs, plus 2017 2nd Rnd pick for Billy Longer.
  14. We would just pay the fees for the kids education whilst on that list. as long as the kid is holding his part of the contract, it carries on till draft time. Each club would have 3 pre-draft picks from they're own academies, including any father/sons. All other academy kids, or father sons not in the [3], would be able for other clubs to bid on, for the draft.
  15. Why not, he's good at what he does. he's the used little monster in all that mess; to Dr James 'H' Frankenstein's aspirations.
  16. Thompson on verge of new Adelaide deal http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-09-21/jacobs-wants-veteran-thompson-to-go-round-again
  17. I'm all for recruiting a project key defender now Hurley stayed with the scumbags.
  18. around 34
  19. If worst case scenario, he can't get back to full fitness & speed, then I can imagine him in a coaching role of some sort, looking forward. He has all the hallmarks of a real leader, & has IMO the aptitude to make some sort of coach within the AFL.
  20. bbo will take them, all of them.. & howe.
  21. PJ
  22. Grimes & Dunn to Tigers for Delidio.
  23. Gone. He needs a fresh start to rekindle his desire for top footy. He has always played when he wanted to. Or has to. Contract years. Whats changed?
  24. I wonder if the saints & dogs are hampered by etihad ? Anyway its great to see both having some success in recent times rather, than being doormats. I totally agree with you on tv timeslots & fixturings. This is where the Afl keep shooting the compettition in both feet at once, helping the powerful, stay powerful. enough !
