  1. ?? robert ?
  2. Lynch with the Crows, also has that form where he failed at the Saints, but made it work in his 2nd gig, after a big kick in the pants getting moved on. Lamb, lets prepare him. See what we can make of him.
  3. Also, as we know too well, some clubs struggle to develop some kids, & some clubs struggle to develop nearly all kids well. As was our case from 97ish to 2013ish. The tide is turning for us, & its high tide we grabbed some under achievers & let them grow under Macca & Egan. back em in.
  4. Moore likely Eddie has had a nightmare image of his pension cheque, & is pushing this fast tracked barrow designed to save both their bacons.
  5. Not the Stingrays, but the Casey, & Sth & East Gippsland regions would be the go. Then we can develop the good kids from 15 or 16Yrs, then get them in our academy.
  6. Why I do not see this at all. And it takes away randomness of finals wins and losses. So the power clubs stay power clubs, & the rest make up numbers, as fodder to the machine devouring itself. This change is good, & in 3 yrs time we won't even blink at end of H&A.
  7. not interested in them having some great games. I want them to be responsible when they do not have the footy, to chase, & to hog tie the opponent with the footy. Inferred pressure will not work in Grand Finals. Bring them down, or don't play for us. No pretenders. If we are to have quick small forwards, they have to be physical, or they can bugger off elsewhere & play for another club.
  8. I don't like any who are too outside, too soft, & not contesting the hard ball. But he must be better than Garlett in this regard & for consistency? I would prefer to do better than to have 2 soft forwards. But maybe we could take one step forward at a time. maybe get Motlop, & trade out Garlett? But i would rather a Pickett in our front row. With a name like that, he would have to be a hard ball winner as well.
  9. Sometimes its a matter of waiting for them to mature. Sometimes you can wait too long? But keep on backing talent, & we can't go too far wrong, as long as we have a strong & healthy culture within our club for players to develop in.
  10. Its a rolling famine. 31 Grimes, Jack 100 27yr 4mth 11 May 1989 187cm 84kg Northern Knights Defender 36 Garlett, Jeff 146 27yr 1mth 3 Aug 1989 180cm 75kg Swan Districts Forward 46 Terlich, Dean 35 26yr 9mth After these guys leave, 2017 we will be short on for 27Yr old leaders.
  11. The thing you don't see is the things he did in the tac. I haven't watched him since drafted. But I recall he has talent, some height & some x factors. Maybe it runs in his family, as his older brother is also talented, but maybe not as much, but also has not lived it yet?
  12. One could divide his highlights reel up into cutlets, ewe might say.
  13. No more front runners, please Dees. garlett accepted at this stage I suppose. We need hard at it runners, who will roll up the sleeves willingly. Only the tough need apply.
  14. Yep, our talent up in that age bracket gets thin after de-listings, and those getting closer to it. We do need to bring in some more maturity, but ones who can play, & lead. They don't have to be stars, but they must be high quality & tough.
  15. Has talents, but does he back them up with commitment ?
  16. hmmn, nup. Go get little Pickett. Then we can talk.
  17. as he exits from the deeper end. and the water level lowers that bit more.
  18. Thanks DC Cometti... millimetre centi-metre perfect. like a cork in the ocean, & other Cometti greats.

    Delistings

well indirectly maybe. Thru greater firmness levels, stamina & gut running, he maybe able to find a way to make more space, use the space to aid his kicking, get to more contests, & gather more telling possessions. So this part will help his skills, being fitter & physically stronger. The other part of it is experience in games, composure, & practicing his disposal skills until he drops. Or gets dropped.

    Thanks Jack

As I type this, 31 likes have been noted at the bottom of screen. I'll add my like to it as well, after giving my thanks to a great servant of the Melbourne Footy Club. Thanks Grimesy for all your effort & heartaches, given in the name of the Mfc & for its supporter base. I admire the way you have gone about it, from the time when you had ongoing back issues from the start really. Andf your courage honesty & loyalty to the cause & footy generally. You've been one of the bright lights in a time when unfortunately, mostly for yourself, we have gone astray off-field, & because of this, onfield as well. I hope you get another offer & continue to find yourself, & your footy form, which I believe you can. And you can be that important cog in someone else's wheel. Good Luck mate...
  21. I agree GtB. Can you imagine how it would be with Hogan, & Boyd in the pocket, with that Weird'man in the goal square ?
  22. Casey, until he works harder on contested ball. He'll learn, or he'll fail. Let him mature at the Demons, & see if we can help him grow. Watts his name has.
  23. Surely you gest'ate Saty, or you've got rocks in your insides? Not for your love or money. darling, no na no. Likes roasts, rosemary, & garlic.
  24. Certainly at least a rookie spot.
  25. Like a bulldozer, he has a low centre of gravity, hurts opponents, & can launch in the air as well. I don't know what his vision & hands are like inside, but I'd like Us to find out. could he be a larger version of Rockliff ? We're short on for 26Yr olds. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/tp-melbourne-demons?year=2016&sby=15
