  1. isn't Dunn out of contract? so why would he eat our salary cap next year? Just give him a 'nudge', & whisper gently into his shell like. He'll notice.
  2. ... or something else has shown itself since... next years pick is the go. and we can throw in dunn for 2016.
  3. We could use him for 2 yrs, on a 1+1 ? common KJ, you'll thaw.
  4. better than under Eddies Hat dome.
  5. Ed trying to shore up his reputation, hanging everything on this, he's gambling, going All In. outcome = a pair of deuces
  6. I don't know what we've got to give, but I'm hoping we could get back into somewhere from late 1st Rnd into the 2nd Rnd.
  7. I'm interested in getting picks around 15+ through the 2nd Rnd &into 3rd Rnd, but not to give away our 2017 1st Rnd Pick to do that.
  8. Well if they build a boutique stadium at Dandenong Sth, then we would get that chance to do just that.
  9. Rockliff, No. He should leave & go to the Hawks as an in/under.. I think they could settle him down under Clark. We on the other hand should take Mitchell out of the Hawks thinking. The Hawks really need Rockliff.
  10. Exactly but lets not try to improve IT; lets build boutique stadiums around the place to better serve communities. And bring those further away geographically into contact with afl footy.
  11. to play with a team that like him?
  12. He's there to teach, nurture & develop that list, I think. Then maybe he will step aside into a similar role he had with the Hawks, as they get a more high profile coach to take the lead on matchdays. Maybe even Clarkson?

    great news to me.
  14. My offer involves just a swap of 1st Rnd 2017 picks, elevating them a few spots in Rnd 1 of 2017 N/Draft, plus our 2nd Rnd pick. So in reality, its a 2nd Rnd pick + some. We just move back a little in the 1st Rnd of 2017. We can make that up in other dealings, next year.
  15. Yes I'd be interested in Jarrod Pickett, if we could negotiate an outcome. Maybe a swap of future 2017 1st Rnd draft picks, plus our future 2017 2nd Rnd pick ?
  16. Yep P27 to bummers, get it over & done with early. Then move on our other trade interests like Garland (if true) & P45 to Lions, for P29, or a player that suits us? or Dunn's trade. Dawes if any interest? I could imagine Dunn's speed mobility could interest the Doggies style of play. Even for depth as they are seen as In the Window.
  17. That site would make a very good shopping & entertainment precinct, with traditional market site with open air buskers/entertainers, underground parking & park-lands etc, to beautify & liven the West End. Lets hope they start plans to build another 2 boutique stadiums around Victoria. One down the SthEast corridor, & another at Footscray/NthMelb (Eastgate) Urgently. Once those plans are then actioned, they can start to sell the Etihad site for redevelopment. #edit: I've changed my thoughts on the original Eastgate site that is Sth-West of the North Melbourne station. I think It could maybe be better placed directly west from the end of Victoria Street, which is just a stones throw NthWest of that same North Melbourne station. This site will link in better with the New underground rail line happening at the moment which will run up Swanston Street & service RMIT, Melbourne Uni, & Flemington Racecource. It would require bit of State Government action to realign the rail lines of the Geelong, Adelaide, Sydney & Eltham lines. which could be done quite easily, relocating the majority of rail line work onto largely unused land, alongside the Moonee Ponds creek. This would allow the land just Sth-West of the North Melbourne station (Eastgate) to be tied into more useful developments aligned with the Docklands precinct. https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/1-15+Laurens+St,+West+Melbourne+VIC+3003/@-37.8049322,144.9395758,501m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x6ad65d3f8a854005:0xb5138100c8cce843!8m2!3d-37.8049343!4d144.9406701
  18. P26, a bit of payback to the AFL, for they're help over the past 3 season. Now they're focus will be on the bummers to make sure they aren't sent into a smokin' spiral dive. IMO this is why so many players have not escaped the clutches at bummerland.
  19. This is exactly the issue that has caused our problems. Not being brave enough (too conservative) to stand alone, & do IT our way. We are forever in the shadows of the Mcc. And don't they love it. They have all they want, summer & winter. Win or lose, all the same to them. It's just entertainment for they're paying patrons, & keeping the carpets wearing. Claim the replacements on tax.
  20. Lol. Well, a mask might help for starters. Following from they're, I think Bbo might take the lead.
  21. The go home factor is getting stronger IMO, & in times of upheavel, it will continue to grow that way. People do like to return to they're roots.
  22. And so they should. Father sons should be Pre-Draft, as they were originally. Free at the cost of a list spot. Not for dealing & exploitation. That Geography is easy. First family home suburb, at the time of conception. if they all want to shift to Tullamarine, let them. Others will take the places.
  23. I see. Thats the way the zone map was printed as well. I couldn't believe that the Hawks had so much of East Gippsland??? And of the north of NT. I thought the Sainters would have had the Mornington Peninsular.? We still should be looking at much younger kids than the TAC cup Stingrays. We should be monitoring & teaching kids from 14Yrs of age. Well before the Stingrays clamp eyes on them.
