  1. and, we may be holding him back from finding his mojo again.
  2. If I were GCS, I would trade gablett, & keep Prestia & offer him the captaincy.
  3. Keep Pedo, & rookie Dawes, if he's so good around the club-rooms.

    Brexit

Brexit. TPP. Why don't we all just form a family collective across Victoria, giving us great buying power as a unit. We can get our electricity cheap by volume, & cheap water, cheap groceries, cheap fresh produce; heck we'll have our own warehouse & distribution. we won't need a TPP, or shares on the stock market. Come to think of it, we won't need retailers, or any of those 'middle people', taking the cream on everything.
  6. difference. the difference was the lousy soft culture we had at the time at Melbourne, near enough. & the poor recruiting/development. We are now a different & growing club, with different leaders around the place.
  7. As a part of a deal, involving TommyMac? So for me, it would be hopefully player & a pick. Which we could use, on a tall who can play back, & kick. And saving some Cap room. I wouldn't be against that.
  8. Do the Swans have $700,000pa on TMacs table? If so, would we look at Tom Mitchell or Zak Jones as a trade?
  9. In my mind the Indigenous round has been the most important within this country, & beneficial to indigenous people. And I do like the new initiative for the Womens game.
  10. I agree SJ. No doubt 'the honest feedback' the players are now giving themselves, is finally starting to have a positive effect on the players outputs. An honest environment is a happy & very healthy environment. A place where one can produce, & create. And this news on re signing On, is very welcome, almost as welcome, as witnessing Jack finally coming of AFL 'vintage'.
  11. the dogs have been building for 10 years. on & off field. solid club nowadays.
  12. I agree. I see the same things, I think, as Roosy. The raw talents.
  13. The need for speed, or rather, run, agility & good pace, across the park. They don't have to be Gary Rohan, who is off the table now IMO.
  14. He's not yet 23yrs. 193cms & still only 94kgs. He could easily fill out & mature. If he has the skills to play wing & flank he's worth a gamble. Maybe even mids?
  15. He would be handy tho. Run & skills, with some height. Worth a try to see what we can make of him, if not too expensive. Hurley would be great. I wouldn't mind seeing Tomlinson & Oscar in the 2 key back posts, with TMac minding gorillas, or as follower. just a thought.
  16. Apparently he has a direct line to Mrs Prestia's mum. She has the goss.
  17. Billy, maybe the Ox agreed with Sheedy. that the club has been on the wrong pathway. Sheeds is no fool, & especially when it come to running footy clubs. One look at the GWS will tell you that, & that We, along with the Suns, tripped ourselves up & tore our-selves new holes.
  18. If true, he can go & #()@& #$& @%l#
  19. Don't know about Silver, but we need magnum bullets. plenty of them. The more the merrier. We needs movers & shakers, only Viney shook up the opposition on the weekend.
  20. Not a bad idea, except we'll have to teach them to handball instead of pass off. But we'll at least we'll be better off in traffic. All we need to add is kickers. Do you think L Gaze would like the job to coach?
  21. 3 seasons is not enough time to fix a soft club. He has only just sifted the list, & helped the players become happy again. We have recruited well, & from the engine room first. so the base layers of all departments are in place, & now we have entered the timeframe where we start to add the finer points (skills & players) to those base layers. You don't just go shopping & buy all these parts thrown them up in the air & things land where they ought. This club has been slowly drifting off line since Swooper left. That is a long time off course, & a mental mess that can't be fixed overnight. Roos understands this side of things & is why we need him to stick around advising.
  22. When we all play well, we go well. We aren't strong enough to carry passengers.
  23. This guy has all the experience to point you in the right direction. He's a ripper. It wouldn't hurt to give him a ring, & a brief chat. http://www.naturaltherapypages.com.au/connect/robrussell/service/23895
  24. Yes, thanks Doc. Its also IMO the reason Lamumba is missing in action, since the last Aints game. In the last, or 3rd Qtr, he dropped off his man near the back pocket to run at the ball carrier near the HBF, leaving a 3on1 close to goal. Rawlings was not happy Jan, a shake of the head at Roos said it all, really. Another who struggles with the zone defence. Now a discussion on the rotations caused zone defences & the effects it is having on players careers, young & old, & on clubs in rebuilds abilities to be competative in each game is truly needed. It is ruining the Aussie rules game. Not to mention TV ratings & game attendances.
