  1. ? He's not retiring along with DC Cometti, is he by chance ?
  2. No Way, 16 a side. pfft Simply reduce the rotation numbers allowable until the players fatigue & cannot cover the ground anywhere near as much that they can flood back & forth. Why do these intelligent pircks keep thinking they should change the game further,,, to try to undo a scourge upon us. Instead of just winding back the problem. Is there a secret agenda to turn this game into an international Gaelic oriented game ?
  3. Cross, Daniel Exactly chell. The young guys need older heads to follow; the old heads that will bend over the ball to pick it up, play physical, & run hard both ways, & show the right direction thru the week & game-days. Chunk needs a chopout in the middle from another mature headed mid. If we want to make inroads toward September next year, then all the best old Pro's are needed to help. He would be following the footsteps of Daniel Cross & Bernie Vince in recent times, who we have used to help us, as we become harder workers & more professional. One year I see as beneficial to us onfield & thru the week on training days. And at Casey if needs be,
  4. So a club wants to sell an out and out superstar, as they try to repair? Pass.
  5. Yep. Undoes all the hard work from those upfield, & lowers the spirits. Once in a while, is forgivable. Finals are very different.
  6. Fortunately we have a little time to see what comes along Re followers. I would rather someone who can play the deep pocket & then go in the ruck for up to 10mins per Qtr. That may not be Zac Clarke? I'm happy enough to stay with Spencil, until a genuine ruck proposition comes along as the No 2 ruckman on our list. IMO need someone who can be a genuine threat up forward as a strong mark & kick for goal, bust packs etc. the Mitch Clark style footy. I think someone around the 198cm-203cm height. Is Paddy Ryder available?
  7. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-09-28/big-docker-clarke-signs-for-another-season & http://www.aflplayerratings.com.au/Ratings/Player/114741/Zac-CLARKE A temp fix maybe. No long contract though. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pc-fremantle-dockers--zachary-clarke
  8. Thats good. We need some classy smalls, with speed. Ainsworth is an interesting type I think.
  9. um, not about you, je roos salem. But about the possibility of the players going into that game under-prepared mentally. Just glad that didn't eventuate, & we've had a good win. you can be as cocky as you want 'jrs'.. its all good. but I didn't want our players to bow out in one set yet again. As has been the recent result for our players in recent finals. The up-shot is we pushed thru hard for a very important win for our club & players.
  10. Where did you here this AAC ? I'd be OK if they want to give Jake 3 yrs contract. If this were to happen, we would have to ensure we grabbed a mature backup ruck/follower.
  11. Thanks DDave. Trenners will surely enjoy the week off to recover his ails. Spencer, Trenn, & Nibbles will no doubt respond next match, after a rare match playing in September air. fancy dat' ! Grime'y is surely playing what sounds to me his best footy of his career. I wonder IF a change of thought may occur? And Dunny, bullet passes? to hit up teammates upfield. Where has this been Mr Dunn ? work rate !!!

Yes, but you don't de-list your 2nd starting ruck, prior to proving his understudy.
  13. Isn't it great to see our boys having fun, enjoying they're footy, working their butts off defensively then rebounding, & the up-shot; Winning, a big part of the recipe for success. We're on the fringe of being a club again, baby steps to the threshold. Knock at that door, and hopefully we'll step through it.
  14. I don't think we need him. And concerned about metaphorical finger pointers.
  15. Yes, but it hasn't done them any good tho thus far. They still went down like greasy cold pies. And we still continue to gain momentum as we grow. Its all about the swings & sliding Dawes.
  16. Its always cloke & dagger with them. He's like a lost dog, still trying to sniff his way home, after getting lost en-roote.

From > Dunn, Terlich, King, Dawes, Newton, JK-H, Grimes,
  18. The nibbler will get his chances next year. He shouldn't go anywhere. They are teaching him multi roles adding to his skills. To me, he is a must keep.
  19. ??? Just the sought of thing to make our players take this game in a comfortable mindset, & lose. And at Casey as well So the doggies will come switched on for sure. The Doggies have great fighting spirit at their club now. Our team is full of talented players for this level, & youngsters who know no better, but in the same breath, its full of players who like things on their terms, & perennial losers a lot of them. Dunn, Grimes, Garland, Spencer, Kennedy, Terlich, all have lost far more games, than they have been involved in winning them. This is a danger game for us.
  20. And it may bring a final, & than drop out of the scene. We need proven hard heads that want to win at all costs. And keep the kids away from they're own bath water. We do not wanna be another GGCsuns.
  21. Yes, we need more smarts around the middle. and another hard runner.
  22. And interim before King shows any maturity. We so need that forward/follower. So Vardy, or whoever, we need one. Not now with Viney Oli etc. We need speed, quick, skilled, clean pace, in our younger brigade. Tommy can go to Saints or Hawks or Blues.
  23. We need a hell of a lot more than a matchwinner. Fyfe type. All we have currently are names, hollow names, who've done stuff all.
