Well thats 2 weeks more than I expected so now W.C. are genuine contenders.

You were right, its three with a guilty plea.

For those Melbourne players and supporters speculating about a possible win against Freo this Sunday I just point again to my opening statement. The Weagles reminded me of the Dees last night and racked up many similar "KPIs". All I can say is FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!!!!!!

Bluetankers would always be a chance to challenge us for early draft picks. Now they've secured memberships, sponsorship ... they've sung the club song a couple of times to teach it to the players, they set about the serious business of tanking the rest of the season. Don't be surprised if the filth join the race with a couple more losses!

It's a strange thought -

If we can beat the Dockers on Sunday...

We'll be doing just as well as the WA teams combined. (discounting their game against eachother)

I like the thought that we actually might need to not improve at all if we are going to hold on to the wooden spoon.

A bit of a surge to climb out of the bottom four is conceivable... Essendon are going backwards and injury ravaged. We would only need one of Richmond, Port or Carlton tol fall apart and we might just have a goal to aim for.

I'd take pick five. I really would. I'm a little annoyed by all this pick one as the marketing saviour.

Cale Morton is Gold, and he was pick 4.

It'd be worth it to have an advertising campaign for next year where the players stare down a wooden spoon and then smash it to pieces, revealing a new dawn and new strength.

It'd also entrench us as the club that definately, definately didn't tank.

We are much better off with Carlton winning last night.

The Weagles will win enough game to keep them off the bottom. Even last night they showed the crowd are 100% passionate and for a half they played pretty good footy.

The normal home ground advantage they enjoy will bite them on the bum as it will not allow them to bottom out if that makes sense.

I reckon Kennedy will be very handy for them and he got them back into the game last night.

Essendon are a big show for the spoon. We are pathetic at the moment.

Round 18 could be very interesting.

Essendon won't win the spoon unless they keep getting injuries. They'll get better when their players come back. I think.

There's a bloke at work who now says that the Bombers are odds on. It drives me crazy. Naitanui should be ours by rights. And with the gold coast teams coming online it could be our last chance at a drafting coup. Matthew Knights is even getting rid of Pev and Johnson as a means of legally tanking til the end of the year. On the other hand, we played with real spirit against the Dockers and I really fear that we could actually win a few before the end of the year. OMG!!!! Focus, focus!!!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
