Melbourne.

WCE still have 3 out and out superstars in Kerr, Cox and Glass, and probably better under 21 talent as well.

I got a feeling they have their eyes on this "superdraft" and a couple of WA boys namely Naitanui & Rich - dont be surprised if Kerr is traded and they try and load up on first round picks.

They lack quality KPP and leadership at the moment but their list is a lot better then ours.

I'd say WC are playing worse, but we are a worse team, based on our list compared to theirs.

They'd beat us by 5-6 goals if we played them tomorrow, even based on current form.

The eagles form is poor, but they have a much richer list than we do. They should be able to notch up wins against sides who travel to the west. WC will win at least 3-4 games more than we will this season.

Port has bounced back, it looks like the dunce teams in the afl will be WC, Essendon,Carlton, Freo and of course, the mighty dees.

Good news for us us we still get to play 4 of those 5 teams, we may just win a few (essendon have so many injuries that they should be considered a walk over).

If i were an eagles fan i would have less to worry about than a dees fan.

I'm young, but I've seen a lot of footy and we're playing the worst of any team I can recall ever seeing. Having said that I don't think we're too far away from turning it around. We have to remember that most teams go through a crap phase at some point, its part of the cycle. Hopefully all our crap years have come at once, so that we'll only spend 1 or 2 years more down the bottom before we return to finals footy. It happens to everyone, it just so happens that we're really, really bad at the moment.

This team has gone from a premiership team to an ugly team.

Carlton are just smashing them at the moment by 48 points.

I turned it off, can't stand the Blues getting it this easy, and Darren Glass on Brendan Fevola what were they thinking?

Pity we have to wait till rd 20 to face this rabble.

Well, I tipped it to a bunch of my friends at the start of the year. I thought West Coast would be bad and Melbourne slightly better, but we're horrible and they're even worse. Wow. We have some stiff competition.

Posted

As long as our spirit never drops to the level i just saw West Coast's in that quarter. WOW

Even when they've played "well" this game, they've still looked slow and awkward

Posted
im sick of umpires dictating games our game has become so soft

eagles are terrible umpires have handed them atleast 4 gifts 0 m out tho

I think they're after the Fijian

Posted

Well I kept seeing a melbourne jumper on those west coast players, they looked horrible and make the same stupid mistakes we have been doing, but add in the players that they are missing and they would be a whole lot better, they are still rabble tonight, good thing is carltank will win again :)

Interesting to see :

Melbourne v West Coast

Round 20

if west coast keep playing like this no doubt we may beat them.

there new chris lewis gameplan of just attack the opposition player really doing wonders for him

expecting most of the eagles having to visit the trib next week ,selwood def gone

They are shocking, we are shocking. We will beat them here, they will beat us there. Who is the lesser side? No idea!

What's weird is they are playing on Subi liked WE played on Subi last year. Less than twelve months ago actually.

Crashing and burning in the AFL takes no time at all... building a side takes infinitely longer.

and darren glass on brendan fevola what were they thinking?

Yeah one of the league's premier full backs on one of the premier full forwards, who'd have thought? :D

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
