did anyone else notice in the little demon booklet we got on page 92 it has all the games round by round. Up the top it says 2007 and the game on sunday starts at 2.10. Seriously we can't even get a magazine right.

Are you speaking of the Almanac? Such a poor effort. Little "blues" everywhere and I thought an almanac was like a diary with phases of the moon and the like in it, aimed at people on the land. I also didn't like the pre-historical quotes in the player profiles.

Yep...I did notice that. But what annoyed me more was the way it was addressed. I am the only Melbourne member in the house and mine book/stickers were addressed To The '''' Household....now that is slack !!!! along with 2 obvious mistakes. So I put it down in disgust !!!!

I didn't noticed it first hand, but now that I look it yet, yeah, there are a few mistakes.

condemned - I got mine today, along with a whole bunch of nice stickers. I'm starting to like the "Melbournefc" and new logo more and more. It's so much more "Melbourne" then just a demon head.

I also got mine today, along with my tie. And I am going to say that I was impressed. The stickers were good and the almanac is fairly good too (apart from small editing errors).

But the tie is great, working in an office environment, I have to wear one every day, and this is not one of those tacky untasteful ones. A good effort by the club IMO

Don't care about the almanac much, but the stickers are awesome!

Every year I complain about the crap quality and general ugliness of the stickers, but this year they are definitely worth the wait. 2 of the 4 stickers are now proudly displayed on my car :D

H.B.K, as we don't pick up our gifts until Round 1 (you are obviously a country/ interstate member), can you tell me whether the club logo on the tie is embroidered or printed?

Jaded, I received my tie yesterday (Interstate member). The club logo is PRINTED onto the tie. Enjoy your season. I always find time to read your thoughtful and SENSIBLE comments.

I'd hate to see your reaction over something major.

An almanac is an "annual reference book composed of various lists, tables, and often brief articles relating to a particular field" ... in this case Melbournefc. Perfectly apt description of the content, and I like the concept. What would you prefer ... something plain like "handbook"?

The tie is great. Got it on Monday and already worn it to work. Do I put it away to wear after a win, or when ever I feel like showing the colours?

In the almanac, Cale Morton was either missing either height or weight, and there was a couple of other errors I noticed. In general, very good, and the stickers are better than previous years.

With respect Maurie, an almanac ties those lists, tables and info to the various days, weeks and months of the year. Even "handbook' would be glorifying the publication, it simply lacks utility.'"Yearbooklet" would just about cover it.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
