I haven't bought a membership yet, and its crap like this latest Sylvia episode that might prevent me from buying one for the first time in 15 years

Why whould I continue to contribute to the paypackets of wankers like Sylvia, Mclean, Carroll etc et.. when they wont do the right thing by me, you or the club?

I love having a drink and partying and getting [censored] as much as the next bloke. But I am not an AFL footballer who has 30,000 paid members watching my every move and hoping for a return on their investment, year after year

I've had enough, and let me tell you, if Yze_Magic jumps ship, the MFC will fold quicker than you can say 'AFL footballers are a joke'

And to add to that, I feel sorry for the great David Neitz who has to play with absolute wankers that dont care about the MFC , while he has bled for the club for 15 years

You should be banned for calling Neitz a loser you pahetic little [censored]

im calling you a loser you little Saturday Disney weed, If you dont buy a membership then you are just as bad as the sylvias who have let the team down. What about neitz and others who are all doing the right thing to make this club what it should be, and when we are struggling for member numbers you may not renew because a select few out of the team have done the wrong thing and all have been treated with accordingly by the club in a way that has been missed for several years.

Fantastic time to jump ship.

You've exposed your true colours recently. You could spend the money you save on a backbone! Some guys here would have stuck through 65-86, what the hell are you complaining about?

Seriously, if these incidents were mediated throughout the 70s-90s, there'd have been a hell of alot more than them. You only have to look at McLean, Sylvia and Carrol for one second to figure out they're are complete bogans and are never going to win any awards for community service. I'm much more worried about the fact that Sylvia is complete crap 90% of the time than the fact that he's out drinking 90% of the time.

Buy the membership for Neita if it helps you sleep at night.

Cry me a freakin river Yze_Magic!

It's weak supporters like yourself that make this club a failure, not the players who go out and do stupid things.

And if you don't sign up and if you're not a contributing member, you have no right to moan and [censored] about the club. I give you one victory before you're back on here blowing your load and declaring us premiership favourites. Yawn!

He might have been referring to you YM.

Stop your whining and pay up, the club needs members more than ever.

Hopefully DB and CC will slowly weed out the players who are unable to do the right thing by the club and it's members.

I think your a good poster YM

but seriously dont be a bloody [censored]. Buy a freaking membership and support the club when it needs YOU most.

Its up to you whether you buy a membership Yze Magic. But if you don"t I for one do not expect to read any comments on here written by yourself for the entire year.

This site is for the True Supporter.

i've always enjoyed your posts Yze_Magic... always good for a read, and I know you care about the red and blue as much as anyone... but this is poor from you if you do it mate...

but it's not even round 1, the clubs 150th birthday, and you're going to jump ship... you know what you need to do...

this is something i'd expect from supporters of richmond or the filth... not the MFC

Yze Magic - stand by the Dees.

I have little hope for 2008. But I have signed up myself and the two kids.

Perhaps you can signal your disgust by changing your name. Dispense with the Yze part.

If you are looking for some fun this year, join me on Bay 13 !!!!

Its so typical of an attention seeking [censored] like YM to turn like a cut snake and sink the boot in to the Club.

About as much substance as windblown fairy floss.

Good decision Ooze. I always thought you were a tad common.

Know what I mean ? :)

Based on what I've read from Yze, I think that was probably a joke.

But for what it's worth, I think Demonland needs a few characters like Yze_Magic around, not many, but a few.

YM, why don't you buy a membership and then burn it. That way the club doesn't miss out on any money and you can vent your anger (and the rest of us don't have to worry about running into your sorry arse at the G).

Lets try something as basic as loyalty to the club that you will always love through thick and thin, no matter what.

Just a thought, maybe you could try that for a change YM :P !!!

I scraoed the money together and signed up as a member in 2003.

So quit your moaning.

If we tanked a year to get one extra top draft pick, I'd be filthy.

But if it takes a year of annoying stories and club-imposed sanctions, and some hard truths about retirements and delistings, to change the culture of the club for the long term, then I'll deal with it.

And still, we have no real idea of how we're placed yet.

I'll be there to find out.

Honestly mate the amount of times you've bagged our club for having gutless supporters who won't stick up for us in our time of need, i never thought you'd become one. I still don't think you will and i recon that you're more than anything else making a point of where our club is at at the moment.

Sylvia's disregard of the curfew after just one week has me a little concerned about his lack of respect for not only the club but the leadership group. If he can't follow a simple rule like this, how the hell is he ment to take any notice of what they're doing on the field?

One more point YM, you've made me laugh many times with your......er.....insightful posts, but if you honestly believe what you said, then don't think you'll have the right to critisise once you abandon ship.

Posted

Look. YM has always been a passionate (at times excentric) poster around here.

Unfortunately it seems that all the pre-season stuff and the negativity has got to him but hopefully he will get his loyalty back and buy a membership.

Come on YM, we need you around here and the MFC also needs you more than ever.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
