According to today's HUN Byron Pickett missed training with the flu yesterday - Bizzell, Brown go, but Pickett unclear. Chris Fagan rackons "[H]e will be right to play on Sunday" but is still uncertain about his future.

The flu that's going around at the moment doesn't go away overnight. We could be in real troble picking a side if he doesn't come up right for the game.

So why did they keep him away from training... He should have been there coughing all over his team mates in preparation for the W/E. :lol:

The football industry has been quarantined. There will be no AFL games in Melbourne this weekend, and the spring finals carnival is in doubt.

He's been very useful over the second half of the year.

Perhaps a certain red-head defender should be joining the farewell.

agreed but i cant see him being as good in 12 months time. I do agree tho that there are others infront of him. Channel 9 reported that Brown and Biz have announced their retirement last night. Dont know how accurate that info is as it was from the words of Michael Usher...the man that cant stop smiling haha

You make me want to spew, you and all your Ward bashing mates. When and if he retires you'll be the first ones on here to tell everyone what a great servant he was to the club,and how couragous he was. Your'e nothing but front runners. It'll be interesting to see who you jump on next season. :angry:
