  1. malthouse to carlton, ratten to melbourne. i like it!
  2. maybe not. a chance carlton might shoot themselves in the foot and ratten becomes available.
  3. it's typical so many can be so judgemental on a person and not know all the facts. i'll make a brave call and say very few on this board are privy to TS's thoughts. don't believe everything you read in the paper, that's not to say dismiss it either. Tom said he would make his decsion at the end of the year and looking at the current landscape that was a smart move. being part of the playing group he has knowledge you or i don't.
  4. the giesh is a yes man and puppet for vlad, he ain't going nowhere
  5. the standard of umpiring over recent times has made me lose my joy for the game. had to turn the pies hawks game off at half time. if that's where i'm at imagine how the players feel. the umps have no understanding or feel for the real game. how many of them have had to stand their ground like trengove did in the 2nd qtr? and the 50 prior to that against garland was cr#p, gifting the dogs the first 2 goals of the qtr. as was bennell's. if they want a fast flowing game and put the advantage rule in the players hands then there's got to be some leeway. bennell kicked that ball within a second of the whistle
  6. can you grab me some hash while you're there?
  7. courageous + humble = irish
  8. 'luke hodge' like. has a bit of mongrel about him
  9. maybe it's not all about the money for tom. delaying the decision till years end gives him the best perspective on where the club is at and where it's going. if it were me and i'm going to pass up the big bucks at gws i'd want to be pretty sure i'm in a good place to achieve footy glory. maybe, like the rest of us he's waiting to see if baileys going to be the one to take us to the holy grail. if the dee's aren't up to expectations you might aswell take the money and run.
  10. sacking a coach mid season is a bad move, even when balme got tossed. can't recall many situations where it's worked; paul roos is the only one i can think of. but it will be biggest comeback since lazuras if dean is there next year
  11. it's going to be cold monday; shrinkage?
  12. if we get an abundance of riches in the ruck i'd like to see stef at fullback where i reckon he could play his best football.
  13. it is baileys fault if he's not communicating, relating to and driving the players to perform to their optimum
