it's typical so many can be so judgemental on a person and not know all the facts. i'll make a brave call and say very few on this board are privy to TS's thoughts. don't believe everything you read in the paper, that's not to say dismiss it either. Just an idea to revive a comp i used to love. There are 3 w/ends prior to grand final week. 2 games played first week b/n allies, vic, sa and wa. The two winners play off in a f/nites time. Players to be picked outside the competing finalists teams. Games can be played anywhere in the country; cities where finals are not being played. As teams are eliminated more players become available. This time of year gives the longest recovery time available before the next season. Also enhances the final series, keeps the whole country more interested in the footy. Could be played every odd year. The afl should give compensation to clubs whos players get injured. Critisise away, just don't get personel.
