Yeh, rough.

We also really donโ€™t have the depth with all the other injuries to cover him as well.

What about Luker?

ย

Our tackling has been really poor until the last 6-7 minutes.

Some brilliant single moments keeping us in the game.

Chandler, Kozzie, Steel, Windsor, Turner, all doing really well.

Gawn having a shocker, Moose is doing OK.

Our biggest weakness being exploited by the Tigers - when we turn it over they have free players out and ready to go.

It feels like we are getting killed at ground level, especially on spread for a contest.

Our mids need to get going, most of the team stats are running equal. We should be killing these kids.

We are winning but doesn't feel like it.

1/2 time

Dees 65. Tigers 44.

Best: Windsor, Kozzy, Howes, Steele, Turner, Sparrow , Chandler

X Jeffo, Laurie (no more please)

X missed tackles

X Fumbles

X clearances 20-21

X losing contested footy

Yep Laurie disposals are sus

Howes playing a really good game so far.

Has proven to be a really reliable head in defence this season.

We are truly playing at the level of the opposition.

Latrelle needs to get going.

Despite his goal Laurie needs to go period.

Fritta needs to take a mark.

I hate to say this but Max is struggling with one mark .Took zero last week.

A lot of youngsters just ball watching.

This is a team with six losses taking it up to us.

The problem with this club and it's a recurring theme is....

Every time we have a big win like the Suns and lions we spend all our time in the media talking ourselves up.

MG has been buying into all week.

I get they have media commitments but maybe a little more humility before it's forced upon us.

This is the quarter we need to open this game up.

We can't just rely on five or six players.

And just like clockwork we give up one.

There is some sort of strange jynx with this club.

Tigers came out and kicked one in a minute and we all knew they do ot the last minute.

All the Time

All the bl##dy time.

What is wrong with this club.

Granted it was a soft free but it's still poor footy.

Bloody annoying. Richmond average 30 pts at half time, 60 over the first 6 rounds and they already have 44 on the board.

But, hereโ€™s hoping for a strong response. Mediocre match so far with a sprinkling of individual brilliance.

Not like for like - not sure who is though.

Maybe Lindsay?

Stinks of the gather round game - need a rocket at half time.

Make that a space X one!

Really weird that weโ€™re 21 points up, haha. Feels like weโ€™ve played really poorly bar 8-9 minutes

I thought Laurie partly redeemed himself that quarter. Hopefully Lindsay and Rivers can come in to cover Culley.

His partner has gone into labour

Could've been worse - she could have joined the Nats.

Delist. Jefferson. Laurie. Why are they playing? No grunt. Too slow. No intensity.

What game are you watching Jeffo competing well with some Bog ordinary inside 50s

Seems Iโ€™m on my own but Laurie is maybe showing something.

He gets to the right spots and his skills are clean, but has rushed everything with bad decisions. Even his goal was a bad decision that he was lucky to get away with.

Gawn wants an easy game to get through to his nemesis next week

Hope Culley isnโ€™t an ACL, was building into a great game

Messy game.
Tiogs bringing the pressure.
Fair enough, they all know we don't like it.
Let's see what we're made of 2nd half.
Chandlers a gun.
Spewin' about Culley.
Hope Laurie sticks it right up yas for the rest of the game.

Deeโ€™s need to step up no more resting Gawn fwd till the game is over

Richmond knows this is gettable. You can't give AFL teams a sniff.

It's never easy if you can't kick straight.

ย

We need much more physicality.

Harder bumps.

Stronger tackles.

And more goal kicking practice.

Nothing but the latter.

Actually doing better out of centre with Moose, for now.

But this is so reminiscent of the EssUndone game - definite danger.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competitionโ€™s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
