Did anyone else hear the Fox promo about our game tomorrow?
Apparently it's the 250th game for McDonald and STYNES.

Did Howie just say big milestones for two Melb players tomorrow: McDonald and Stynes?

Good I’m glad I wasn’t just imagining it

If Tristan Xerri is found guilty of wiping blood on the face of McGrath, that should be a large number of weeks suspension. Would be a big boost to Max’s chances of a ninth AA jacket.

Cowboys/Storm game is good entertainment

The crowd at this game, and us suckers watching at home, are exactly the problem with the AFL.

We are so rusted on they can provide such a poor product - and we still watch.

I am not Expecting much from us this season but if we can’t beat Essendon I will be pretty disappointed.

24 scoring shots to five after half time in Freo-Richmond. Yikes. Could just as easily have been a 120+ margin if Freo had kicked straight.

And a quick nod here to Tholstrup for his job on Serong. Cut Serong's output to less than half.

Meanwhile, for those keeping track of the genius moves at AFL HQ regarding giving thugby a free hit and all that - there was not football on free-to-air television in Sydney today. None.

Looks like this season has a decisive early top-2 and bottom-2 but the remainder is a wide open and completely chaotic race.

Finn o Sullivan could be the best in the comp in a few years.

Why do so many people support Essendon? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Classic case of maggots being close to being nearly as bad as players from both sides. Incidentally overheard one of commentators on Fox during the Freo game making rather disparaging remarks toward the women in the front row stand as being from ABC NEWS because of what they were wearing and how they looked, which I didn't appreciate.

Bottom 2 - Toigs and Dons?

I wouldn't go the early crow.

We could be facing Dons in Adelaide with us being 1-3, and off the back of a mauling by the Suns.

We've got ZERO depth.

Glory hunters

Grew up in the 90’s and supported the team winning

Now they take their punishment

You know footy is having a bad day when people are genuinely suggesting to watch NRL instead.

Hopefully another twenty years of being in the wilderness will change that.

I was half interested in this morning’s match – since then it’s been a run headlong into mediocrity.

Actually watching anything else.

I hope the AFL takes note. But I doubt it.

I know right. It’s amazing how many clinically insane people there are in Victoria. They walk amongst us (shudder)

This game is so bad. Gresham went to kick the ball back to his teammate from 15 metres away after play had stopped for a free kick, and he missed him with the kick by 10 metres.

Like EPL through the years with Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea and Man City.

It’s only going to get worse with Tassie coming in and then a potential 20th team; the talent is spread absolutely too thin as it is. This game tonight is absolutely shocking, the amount of mistakes and turnovers is abysmal.
