GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Fremantle

11 goals down, we CAN do this…

It’s not even a goal a minute. Way more luxury than that.

Seriously though, just show some heart boys and keep this respectable. Was always going to be a tough ask tonight. But if we’re going to build with this team, we need to start building one that keeps fighting until the last siren.

I was expecting much more from Rivers this year

RIVERS is overated and believes his own mirror!

Need Culley to find more of the football.

Everytime he has it, good things seem to happen.

Nope he is soft cant have that!

Howes, Latrelle, Salem, Petty, Sharp would all be dropped if were dropping softies, and there’s not enough at Casey to cover any of them. Coach him through it

Think we need to play a 3rd tall (ie. have one fit) which then moves him back in to the midfield more. But then how does he play higher with an already slow midfield?

Some people are deluded with Lever. He's been terrible yet they excuse him because they reckon we need two stud defenders for him to play well. Enough already. We need leaders who can hold the fort right now and defend 1v1 when needed. You no longer have the luxury to float.

Kozzie very average but in good company.

Will struggle to find votes except for captain courage.

I've seen enough.

Oh wait Roo might kick one.....

Nup.

Tx Max.

Langdon been ok

should have been a 50 to fritsch for the late hit

AMW will come in. Has to

Reiwoldt is a terrible commentator but I love the wrestling references

This is by no means an excuse, but it’s really kinda weird travelling to WA during daylight savings.

I was supposed to be on the same flight as the team this weekend. We were in the lounge when we got told the flight was cancelled. Not delayed, but cancelled. Could see the players were all pretty [censored] off (as well as the Bulldogs players who were there too). My travelling party were bumped to some ridiculous flight that went via Sydney and got us into Perth at 11pm. I believe our boys were put on a much kinder flight, but still didn’t get into Perth until 7pm (was supposed to be 2pm)

During daylight savings it’s a three hour difference in the west. Everyone arriving from Melbourne wakes up at some stupid hour the next day.

Again, no excuse, but certainly doesn’t help. Especially in the second game of the year

So much for the AFL protecting players. Too many reckless defenders swinging and missing when they have no chance to contest the mark.

Very glad we have a 7 day rest. We look effed !

Levers been much better since 1/4 time.

The game plan is multiple zone defenders and less one on one.

We need to see some actual midfield cover and forward pressure before we cast judgment on the deep part of the zone

Anyone got a heart for Petty

One of the softest big men in the game.

That said, I think Lever is washed but I’m not sure T Mc back in makes any difference

We need people like Sparrow actually tackling or producing turn overs in the midfield.
