GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda

Really need to work on keeping the ball in the contest when outnumbered, almost all of the saints goals have come for overhead/out the back handballs.

I’m going early changes for next week:

in T Mac

Out. Lever

Jake a liability

Sparrow is lucky to be playing every week.

Defensive set-up and errors already a big worry against average opposition.

May's leadership already being missed.

They imported half their squad, will need a bit of time to click. Hopefully they do when it’s too late. The sooner Ross goes, they’ll be all the better for it.

Bringing in more flakey pretenders doesn’t fix your team being flaky pretenders, even if you pay them a lot

frantic game

i hope we have the legs to see us through to the end

i'm out of breath just watching this

Culley is going to cause a lot of problems for teams this year.

Can seriously play.

great composure culley. beautiful set shot

Tholstrup and Sharpe are a worry at times. Not sure whether it's confidence or lack of game awareness.

Our system understandably needs a fair bit of work. Ball movement is is about a C+

Can't see us piling on the three or four goals needed to break the game open.

Hope I'm wrong but the defensive work is not there

Yeah. It feels like we're just short of 3 or 4 mid tier players. Not brilliant, but just solid.

Sharpe and Sparrow really don't seem up to it.
