Probably - I thought we would try and sign the big companies but I guess it’s more about the companies getting something than us?

Not quite Jaguar

No. But Jaguar only sold 743 cars in Australia last year, and like all models they are imported. They employ fewer than 70 people at their headquarters in Malvern.

'Business to business' related sponsorships seems to be a growing part of the sports sponsorship market.

The top-level sponsors are mostly consumer targeted and there's a whole lot of smaller sponsorships by food and drink brands, but mixed in there's... gets google out...

Akambo 'Institutional grade managed accounts and asset consulting'

Nueva 'Business IT security'

FujiFilm, which lives on as business media services

2Construct, civil construction project management

Sleigh group: A dedicated localization company, into a technologically focused language services company

Melbourne vehicle management - manages vehicles, probably in Melbourne

McLardy McShane, specialists in tax-optimised contributions to your personal sporting obsession via business promotional expense deductibles.

MA Services Group could make their sponsorship money back just from the schmoozing opportunities in a sympathetic corporate box.

These smaller companies are also probably run or owned by Dees fans. And my understanding is they can usually use sponsorships for tax purposes.

For what it's worth, I was pretty sure MA Group are in this category, were already a sponsor and have just upgraded.

Which was the really dodgy one? EnergyWatch?

EnergyWatch was the too-good-to-be-true white knight sponsorship which then allegedly backslid on the actual payment schedule before having to be dumped as a sponsor for reputational reasons... in so far as their CEO/Founder went on a series of bizarre noxious rants.

So, dodgy was a pretty good descriptor 😁

Really, anyone who was willing to put any money into the club around that time deserves a medal

I hate how sponsor heavy the jumpers are now. Soon enough ours will look like the NRL tops.

One thing we should adopt off the US is clean jumpers/tops, prob one of the few things worth copying them so we won't.

They look to be a fairly large, reputable organisation...

Here’s a breakdown of MA Services Group — who they are, what they do, and their key points:

Who Is MA Services Group?

  • What they do: MA Services Group (MASG) is an Australian integrated services company providing security, cleaning, and maintenance services. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Founded: 2011. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Ownership: 100% Australian-owned. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Size / Reach: Over 3,500 employees across all Australian states and territories; national operations centre 24/7. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Leadership: Managing Director is Micky Ahuja. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Services:

    • Security: On-site guards, mobile patrols, loss prevention, event security, alarm monitoring, electronic security. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

    • Cleaning: Commercial cleaning, facility cleaning, general maintenance. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

    • Maintenance: Asset maintenance and facility management. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

    • Alarm Monitoring: They run an A1-graded monitoring centre (which is a high security / alarm-monitoring grade in Australia). (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Approach: Their model is integrated — they combine the services (security, cleaning, maintenance) to provide tailored solutions for clients. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Industries / Clients: They operate across many sectors: retail, education, government, healthcare, events, industrial, major infrastructure, etc. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Sustainability & Ethics: MASG has published ESG (environment, sustainability, governance) policies and a modern-slavery statement.

  • Licences: They hold master security licences in various states / territories (security & operations legit). (LinkedIn Australia)

Why They Are Significant / What Sets Them Apart

  • Integrated Service Provider: Rather than just security or cleaning, they bundle services, which can be more efficient and cost-effective for large clients.

  • National Scale with Local Expertise: Even though they are nationwide, they emphasize local teams and knowledge in each state / sector. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Technology & Risk Focus: They emphasize a risk-management approach and invest in technology, trained staff, and robust systems. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

  • Social Responsibility: They take ESG seriously, showing ongoing commitment to sustainability and modern-slavery risk mitigation. (maservicesgroup.com.au)

Bottom line: MA Services Group is a reputable, large-scale Australian services company. They’re not a small local contractor — they’re a major player in facility management, security, and cleaning, with strong systems and a broad national footprint.

It appears that we have a new jumper sponsor for 2026. Post on MFC socials. More elite content from the socials department.

Not sure if I like the colour at the back or not. May be a little ‘clashy’ with the Hertz logo.

In any event, new era, new jumper!

Hertz have finished their sponsorship with the club.

Back of jersey spot u for grabs. I was told Polestar are keen and we are working through with them how this could look commercially.

Nice!

I think the MFC monogram has been droppefd off the front of the jumper as well? Anyone confirm? Wasn't seen on the jumpers of the new recruits.
