NON-MFC: Finals Week 01

Freo are such a flaky side. I would have preferred OT.

Dammit.
I can't stand Hardwick.

Rough free kick.

A great review for the Suns.

You would have preferred the goal if you were freo. At least you can get the ball into 50 from the centre

Jackson and Andrew kicking clutch goals just to remind Melbourne supporters what could have been.

😡

LOL. Freo, we've won hee-haw, we are the Freo Dockers. 😂

Two brilliant games of footy today.

Today’s games were good to watch. The QFs were boring as bat [censored].

Let’s hope the Gf is the same when Geelong destroy Collingwood by 198 points

How good of the AFL to [censored] us with Mac Andrew

I hate this competition

Freo the ultimate finals floppers

Would've been 3 votes Alex Pearce if Freo had held on. Typical of Freo to do a Melbourne and fluff it in the last few minutes! lol

Good on GC, shame Hardwick is their coach and they won for him but happy for them.

Can’t stand him, especially after his “I’m tired I need a break”, 3 days later “I’m GC coach now”.

Hey Essendon, the last time you won a final the Gold Coast Suns didn't exist.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
