I've been guilty of giving him a little flak about not chasing and tackling as much as I would like or at least my perception of what is required.

But at the end of the day he is one of those talented players that can pretty much go close to winning a game of his own boot.

He seems to drift in and out of games somewhat but he's still definitely a keeper.

His " spurts " in the GF helped get us home so there's that.

Is contracted for next year, so we would need some decent compensation - a top 25 draft pick or a solid established B grader that addresses a need.

That is unless the relationship between player and club is untenable and the club is happy to see the back of him....not saying that's in anyway a fact.

Yep. Im ok either way

Must be coming from his end, we have spent a lot of time re tooling him to play a new role. I doubt we would put in that effort if we planned on trading him.

He does have value though, if we are pushing a build he may be one to go.

Premiership forward, multiple time leading goal kicker... I'm wanting a top 15 pick and maybe some late pick swaps.

I’d like to see him stay, he’s a great player.

He’s been screwed over in the last few years when it comes to his midfield being completely unable to hit a target or lead.

He’s finally getting a bit of form/confidence back.

However I guess it depends on what they can get for him and what’s required/helps the team moving forward.

Earlier in the year a mate of mine who has been on the money on a number of occasions said he heard the Bombers were into him. Mate is not affiliated with the Bombers but has an acquaintance who is. Take with a grain of salt.

Definitely want him to stay and yea our delivery to him has been poor frequently.

But he needs to account somewhat for his lack of pressure. Images of him jogging after players or soft tackling have been too frequent this year.

Looks like he's turned things around and has lately been showing his old hunger. A bit too much at times maybe where he should have handballed.

But we would be crazy to let him go given how much our fwd line has been struggling over the last few years. And while Frittas form has waxed and waned he's not the biggest offender. Our leader goal kicker for the last three years or.more I think.

He shows some very special Kozzie like talent at times and when he is on, is a pure excitement machine.

We did try and move him last year but didn’t get any takers.

I think the lack of a good, tall CHF also hampers Fritta's ability to play his best for goal scoring (noting it's also been a period marred by injury and inconsistent runs at building momentum). Imo, no coincidence that Fritta was at his best in 2021 and 2022, when we had Big Benny Brown and then TMac (prior to lisfranc) playing CHF

Definitely, GW is good friends with Fritta's mum! But then again, not all young men tell things accurately to their mum 😁

I'm hesitant to believe much from the media this year they've hit an all time low imo. If this is actually true then it does seem to suggest we are looking to make some pretty substantial changes to our list.

Broadly speaking I'm not against that strategy but I'd rather look at moving guys like Lever on than Fritsch since our forwardline is still our weakest area.

For all of Fritsch deficiencies, I would be shocked if we traded him out.

With all of our forward lines woes, at least Fritta still hits the scoreboard and gets into the right spots to have scoreboard impact.

I didn’t hear that, maybe that’s why he started so slow and they have shifted him around a bit.

My (admittedly limited) understanding is the tall CHF draws the attention of defenders and was also quite important to the structures of our previous game plan (such as generating contests). So Fritta would be able to get off the leash more in that context

So, a club with one of the worst forward lines in the competition is looking to move on its only reliable goal scorer? There would want to be something seriously, seriously good coming back the other way.

The alternative is that he gets replaced in the lineup by a Spargo / Sharp / Henderson type that contributes 10 touches and zero goals a week, and that certainly doesn't improve the side.
