Caddy is giving ADHD energy. I love unpredictable players when they don’t play for us.

Sadly looks like Essendon have recruited a very good player in Caddy.

Yes and he’s fun to watch.

Baby Bombers. Better recruiting after some dud years !!

Hopefully they go back to recruiting duds this year. Agree with you they look to have a couple of very good youngsters.

Lions have become a team that picks and chooses.

they've been very good the past 2 seasons but i reckon they are very beatable this year.

Blimey. That was too close. You cannot get above the scum of they keep winning. We needed the bears to win that. Keeps our season well alive. Go into the saints hard. We can Do it ! Is it going to be wet though

In keeping with the game at a time mantra we need Collingwood to have a big win over the Hawks. Could get us that little bit closer but it's a tough ask to catch 5 (Geelong) or 6 (Hawthorn) who both have a two game and a decent percentage break.

That leaves only 7 (Bulldogs) and 8 (GWS) as the only teams we can replace

The rational preference tonight is for Collingwood to win by about 100, and then be hit by dysentery.

In fact, a simple transfer of e. Coli. from one team to the other tonight would be ideal.

Sooooo Hawks V Pies

yeeeah.

Pies are top 4 locks so i guess we want Hawks to lose?

Can't stand Horethorn, There are fewer &^%$ wits at Filth ATM, so I guess I'll be supporting them tonight (spew).

Can't stand either of these teams

hopefully they knock lumps out of each other

Can easily see Hawks sliding out of the 8. Which means I’m barracking for the filth tonight.

A decent shower needed after this one.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
