Might get him on a flogger.. MY flogger, and I’ll take it easy up the back of the bay. 😁

Good idea, GW!

I think this could be revolutionary in cheer squads.

The use of the INTERCHANGE!

We need you to be fresh at 3/4 time, and bring them home with a big last quarter. Maybe give the players a bit of your Red Bull at 3/4 time as well. Are they allowed to have Red Bull?

Hope you all have a great day.👍

I haven’t spoken to my mother in law for eighteen months, I really don’t like to interrupt her.

My mother in law returns from Perth today at Game time. Surprised I got a leave pass to go to the footy. She is a lovely old duck who is always welcome to visit. Wife will pick her up. I expect she will be on time, we only got her broom serviced before she left.

Almost 5-1 onna two horse race unbelievable !!

Viney out is a huge loss, so their mids are going to be difficult to stop, or break even.

I remain unconvinced about AJ, but I hope he can prove me wrong.

And I have my moans, groans, swearing, ranting and head rubbing all prepared for the goal kicking.

Unfortunately, we are hosting a baby shower for my daughter and I am on BBQ duties. Having adult daughters can be very very cruel sometimes.

Not having footy loving adult daughters is cruel*

I’d never ever do that! Always work around our dees! That’s why I had my son in January last year. Have to be smart haha

Hi DG35, I have one of each. Ironically it's my daughter that is footy keen and my son doesn't like it all. Sadly into USA basketball with all its boring round ball predictably and running back and forth. No tackles, banana kicks and speckies .

He plays the B.b. so I I try to understand. Oh the heartache. I'll have to work hard with his son if he has one, to ensure the family misery of MFC support is passed on as my father did for me.

The father daughter days at the Mcg have been some of my fondest memories with my beautiful daughter.

For some of us blokes that find it difficult to talk or relate to daughters at times, footy is a great bonding experience. As it for a lot of families.

I don't get how families can do the same at Soccer in the UK with it's hooligan elements. I've watched it on occasion and while sometimes exciting, I don't think this game game is enthralling enough to maintain the crowd's focus enough. Hence the agro. Or some other reason beyond comprehension . So we are lucky in this country to have such a great sport and culture of civility. Well most of the time.

Aussie Aussie Aussie.

Go Dees

I don’t expect our record as “Narrm” to improve.

But it would be good to see AJ & Petty kick 4 each, even if we lose. I just want AJ to make an impact, so we don’t have to rush JVR or try Jeffo again.

Also clarry had a big game here last year, I’d love to see a repeat so he can stick up those [censored] on that gutter trash AFL media morning show!!

We've just drifted from $5.10 to $5.75 in 30 minutes. Any late outs?

The bookies momentarily forgot about our last quarters until Demonlanders reminded them.

I like it. It's telling Bailey you aren't getting dropped yet but you must go on & contribute

OMac a late out for Bris.

They're bringing in the Premiership ruckman Darcy Fort.

I'll be pleased to see Rayner and Zorko's faces rubbed into the Gabba turf numerous times.

Time for the Dees to stand up and be counted.

And its senior players like Fritsch that are to blame.

Sadly.... exactly that

All I want to see is Hipworth exposed for the fraud footballer he is!

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.

  • CASEY: Northern Bullants

The Casey Demons travelled to a windy Cramer Street, Preston yesterday and blew the Northern Bullants off the ground for three quarters before shutting up shop in the final term, coasting to a much-needed 71-point victory after leading by almost 15 goals at one stage. It was a pleasing performance that revived the Demons’ prospects for the 2025 season but, at the same time, very little can be taken from the game because of the weak opposition. These days, the Bullants are little more than road kill. The once proud club, situated behind the Preston Market in a now culturally diverse area, is currently facing significant financial and on-field challenges, having failed to secure a win to date in 2025.

  • GAMEDAY: Sydney

It’s Game Day, and the Demons have a golden opportunity to build on last week’s stirring win by toppling Sydney at the MCG. A victory today would keep them firmly in the hunt for a finals spot and help them stay in touch with the pack chasing a place in the Top 8. Can the Dees make it two in a row and bring down the Swans?
