Only posters that have never moved jobs are allowed to have a pop at Trac.

Last year he went about it all wrong. Put everyone’s nose out of joint. This year he and the club are on the same page.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. Let’s get the best deal we can and let JT work his magic at the draft. We if we can land a couple of promising kids I’ll be happy.

Crows cannot offer anything to anyone unless it means the Dees get screwed. We are now a laughing stock on field. Dont let that be also off field !!! Stand firm.

The media will want the club to take some lowball offer just so they have a trade to talk about. How about get [censored] you vultures.

Problem is if u go on crows forum or any neutral one and the media everyone else thinks 14 and future first is overs, most seem to think 14 and some later picks is the market

Either the offer works for us, or Christian works for us.

that the problem with lamb is he doesn’t want any problems, he pays overs to get players in and gets unders when they go. The only one I recall us putting the foot down was hogan and we did get a good return on that in retrospect but then gave it all away to get may one year early before free agency. 100% of trac nominates crows we get at most 14 and a future first which he will probably then hand over in its entirety for Flanders. 🤢

Lamb became list manager in October 2019. A year after the Hogan trade.

Damm can’t even give him credit for the one good trade we did

That’s a joke. “14” becomes “20” after free agency compo and compensation picks. That’s a deesaster for us !!!

You're overthinking this.

First time I’ve ever been accused of over thinking anything🤣.

Is his partner his social media manager. Surely between the 3 of them they would have considered the optics of this rather than driving, having a zoom meeting or have Adelaide’s list manager fly into Melbourne or any other way to keep it out of the media.

Also I assume although he’s no longer with Connor sports he’s is probably still getting advise from his brother who still works for them.

I agree but everyone else looking at the downside, of omg he’s 30 which means he’s over the hill and only a few years left, a poor kick and won’t ever get back to his pre injury form

Tbh I think 1st and future 1st works if crom take on his entire contract

Take that and say goodbye to finals for years... we need players... or we rebuild for 5 + years with membership plummeting...

And then immediatley stick the boots in about us being weak and letting him walk for unders, saying we should have held him to his contract and a good club would have kept him and backed themselves to improve.

If King gets us up and going and into a finals team next year i reckon Trac will probably change his tune, personally i'd be tempted to shut the talk down right now and see how we go under King for 12 months

Fast fwd 2 years and Viney and Gawn will be gone, that leaves us with a mid of Oliver? Pickett, Langford, Windsor and Lindsey and unknown ruck, even if the kids work out it doesn’t seem like a contenders midfield bottom half of the 8 in a best case

You think he hasn't already had a zoom meeting? Reckon a professional athlete may want to see the facilities they might be training at. Seems like the club is okay with him exploring his options. Don't really see what the point would be in the kind of secrecy you're talking about.

Interesting. Get the feeling Petracca would be better suited to a non team game eg tennis.

Given we can now trade 2 years in advance how about this

The crows next 3 firsts

2025,2026,2027

For petracca and pick 23

AGREE. TRAC CAN NOMINATE THE CROWS BUT REMEMBER HE IS UNDER CONTRACT.

IF THE CROWS OFFER US A “PACKET OF BISCUITS” IN THIS AVERAGE COMPROMISED DRAFT AND THE NEXT COMPROMISED DRAFT, THEN THE ANSWER IS A NO. PICKS AROUND 21-22 ARE AN INSULT.

TRAC IS UNDER CONTRACT. HE WAS RUNNER UP IN THE B&F. HE POLLED 16 BROWNLOW VOTES.

KING. GUERRA. GREEN/SMITH. SHOW SOME TEETH AND MAKE A STAND.

Calm down..

Agree.

If Tracc wants to leave that is 100% on the club.

The players bear no responsibility for the culture of the club. They are passive observers.

mahoney2

Are you serious

We’ve treated him like royalty & bent over backwards to keep him happy

Believe everything you hear in the media do you Binman?

He’s not even giving the new Coach, the new CEO the new President, the hopefully new culture the time of day

He’s on 1.3 million & you feel sorry for him

I find your posts normally very balanced, but to put this all on the club is naive,

Agreed WWSW. And if we’re not accepting that it’ll be the Petty trade all over again.

Think it all comes down to who pays his salary. 2 late first rounders and they pay all his salary is ok with me.

I'd rather he stays, though.

I would be appalled if we move on Trac just to make some room in the cap we have nothing to do with. Basically just making our list worse for nothing.

He's a gun player and gun players get paid the big bucks. Adelaide aren't chasing him because they reckon he's in the bargain bin, they're doing it because they think he might be the difference in winning a flag.

I would be too. But in my mind i can temperatures my annoyance at not getting true value if we can get something reasonable...and unload the $$$.

So three picks likely between 10-18? No thanks.

Who you gonna pay his money to?

If we're not doing this to improve our list in the short or long term, I genuinely don't see the point.
