Red time goals once again 🤦🏼‍♂️

Have we taken 25 rather than 26 to Perth and now have no one to cover Gawn?

Seems like smart Melbourne is back again for a 4th straight year

50 metre penalty against freo cues commentary from biased WA commentators that freo are hard done by,

kayo commentary this year for interstate games going to be painful.

Papalia and Loughnan both making jokes about Kozzy going to Freo. They’re commentators ffs.

That’s a [censored] end to the quarter.

All that work to get back in the game only to have clawed back 10 points. 5.6 not great, again.

Ah well, at least it was a better showing.

Nothing to lose here, hope the boys just throw all the dash and dare out there in the last.

Be bold.

Better quarter. Midfield looks great. Forwards and half backs not so much.

If Disco plays round 1 he's got photos of somebody and is threatening to release them to the media.

Goodwin taking the [censored] out of how he's using River this game. Can't hand Billings playing R1.

Not sure why we wouldn't have taken Tom Mac if Petty wasn't playing? Adams out of his depth at this level, Treacy running rings around him.

Get Gawn off FFS

3 qtrs are enough pull him outta there!

Perspective: Practice match in hot conditions in the West with some key personnel out and a couple returning from injury.  Already an improvement upon the touch up they gave us last year.

I get that this is a practice match but Walters, who’s about 49 years old, has kicked 10 goals in the last 3 matches against us.

I’d play 10 minutes more then leave

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
